John Virgo for captain if they're wearing that.

What a night last night at the German Masters! Quarter final stage featuring all of Robertson, O'Sullivan, Selby, Murphy, Trump and Maguire. All four matches went to a deciding frame, we had a 147, comebacks galore and frame-winning clearances after needing two snookers.

One of the best sessions I've seen!

What do people think of different format in the shootout would you bring singing to some of the main events or leave it to this event only..?

The Shootout is one of my favourite events on the calendar. The format's a great leveller and literally anyone could win it. However, the crowd do in my f*cking nut! The most obvious example of Hearn trying to turn snooker into darts that there is. I'd love to go to the Shootout one year but I'd want to punch someone!

Great comeback from Judd Trump in the final of the World Grand Prix last night. 7-4 down, then stepped up a gear to reel off six frames in a row and win it. Including the highest break of the tournament in the process.

The biggest of the lot starts again this weekend. :thumb Who's your money on? Will Selby be the first player to break the "Crucible Curse"? Will we see a 147? Any major surprises?

Got my tickets for the Monday afternoon session featuring Ding Junhui and Neil Robertson. Can't wait! :bananadance

If anyone can it's Selby and I hope he does but he's got a tough ish draw

I see Ronnies odds are ridiculous again 2/1 to win it and 4/5 to reach the final :rolleyes

It'll also be because a shed load of people will bet on O'Sullivan as well.

He's the favourite but only because he attracts a shedload of bets and it's in the bookies' best interest to put him as such short odds. It's very open as to who could win it.

Even as number 1 seed, Selby would have a very tough run if it all went according to seeding - 1st round Maflin, 2nd round Maguire, QF Murphy, SF Robertson, Final O'Sullivan. Ouch.

WC is perfect for Selby as he wears down opponents and over 2 weeks this is an advantage for him. However, ill be putting my money on Robertson. On his game i really cant see him getting beat.

Don't tell hul-lad. Selby is the world champ which automatically makes him the best, so he can't lose.
