Agreed. Lasted similar time for me. Can't play it online either because people are too good. Can't get a win as a casual player unless it's a freak KO

I did 20 online matches and went 0-20. Never again.

That's what happened to me. I'd get taken down, panic, start to button bash and then game over....

I didn't like UFC Undisputed. The same was for me. Could never get out of the way of a take down and no matter how high my strength was, the button moves never worked. Even the take down attempt control to block never worked.

Really hope PS5 bring out a Boxing game.

Me too, but I think they are difficult to keep interesting for casual players. Some of the more recent ones seemed to be more about doing repetitive training challenges to build up stats, and learn/unlock new punches. We've not had a good one for a long time, and hardly any at all on this gen

Even Eddie Hearn is pushing for one now. It’ll help him build publicity for his fighters. AJ would 100% be the cover star.

One is definitely on the way. Boxing has taken off again and people are getting bored of them UFC games. I can see EA reverting back to the Fight Night series.

I never played FN: Champion. Was that any good?

I've not played that either. They all seemed pretty similar to me. I did enjoy downloading and playing with Rocky Balboa on one of them though.

Yes it was. Added a story mode to it too which was really cool.

PS4 made me give up on consoles a little tbh. It is just the Remasterstation. When it's not remastered games it's just the usual annualized games that are barely any different.

Is it really gonna have touch pads instead of analogue sticks? Steam tried that with their controller and it was just a horrific experience imo.

I've read that the PS5 system will be SSD so load time should be a lot quicker. Standard will be 1TB and the higher end will be 4TB which nowadays will be required.

This is the way I feel about the Xbox One as well. I don't regret buying it or anything, but the actual crop of games has been pretty poor. Even the ones I like mostly aren't as good as their last gen equivalent. A lot of the time I find myself playing 360 games on it. Plus a lot of the remasters are shit. I had to buy the Batman games again because they're not actually backwards compatible, and I honestly can't tell what has been 'remastered'. Actually saw one comparison where the remasters appeared to look worse. And wtf is the need to remaster 360 games anyway?

The recent tennis games are supposed to be bad, really really bad. The best tennis game is Tennis Elbow 2013 on the PC - indie game made by a Frenchie.

FN Champion was good, but I didn't think much better than FN3. These story modes in sports games just never work out. At least it's not as bad as The Journey ()

I prefer the Legacy "career" modes to the story modes but did think fight night champions story was pretty good tbf.

To be fair it's prob the only one of those modes I've actually played to the end (except I could never beat that guy, that enormous bellend you end up facing), but I wish companies would actually try to improve their flawed game mechanics instead. In the likes of FIFA and Madden, there's just so much to address, but year after year they just put fluff into the game instead.

This just depends what you're into, JRPG's this generation have absolutely killed it and have easily been amongst the best games of the gen (Bloodborne, Nier, Monster Hunter World, Persona 5, Ni No Kuni for example)

No intention of buying a PS5 for a very long time. Gaming has gone so downhill for me in the last generation that I can't summon the will to spend the time and money investing in another.

I've not really been gaming much for a while. I played PES religiously every year but didn't buy 2019 as I went to FIFA 19 for the linceses. Not been on that for a while either. Currently playing NBA 2k20.

Unless more games are released, I may hold off buying it.

I read the controller is going to be touch sensitive rather than buttons. I really hope it isn't because that will encounter problems.

PS5 is going to be pretty powerful for a console.

I get what you mean. PC's are, well they are PC's. The sky is the limit. For gaming though, pure gaming, you'd want the natural system which would be the console.

I have thought in the past about gaming on a PC and hooking it up to a big screen etc. But I can't browse on a big screen, I find it odd hence why I keep it natural.
