normally people would still be in the swimming pool and stuff no?
Liverpool are in talks with Celta Vigo over defender Stefan Bajcetic. Club scouts have been impressed by the teenage centre-back and have opened discussions with the Spanish side over a move to Merseyside.
The 16-year-old is also wanted by Manchester United but Liverpool are confident they can seal a deal for Bajcetic. The champions face a race against time however and would need to conclude a deal before the United Kingdom leaves the European Union on January 1.
Under the new post-Brexit transfer rules, clubs cannot sign overseas players under the age of 18 once the UK officially leaves the EU at the end of this year.
Another three back
Its a beautiful sight seeing him back.
Merry Christmas fellow Reds.

Gerrard on his managerial future.
Seems like he's showing a lot of promise at Rangers but I feel like Lijnders could be the natural successor to Klopp.
The eventual Ljinders vs Gerrard debate will be an interesting one. For now, I am on the side of Ljinders being next in line.
Gerrard taking over one day is an absolute certainty... but he shouldn't rush into it. Would like to see him manage in the Premier League before he took over.
If by the time Klopp moves on, Gerrard has had 2/3 successful/decent PL seasons then we will see though.
I think he joins LFC direct from Rangers or goes abroad??
I mean who would he manage in the PL? In regards that whoever that was would have to be successful enough for him to warrant the LFC job given where they are now.
The logistics of how he gets the job are tricky tbh.
Yeah, the logistics are tough since so much is a victim of circumstance. The way Klopp eventually moves on for example. If he leaves on a high like Sir Alex and you struggle to look past a continuity appointment like Ljinders. If things take a turn though, then does that really make sense?
Likewise what Gerrard does the next 3/4, maybe 5 seasons comes into it. On the sort of PL (current batch) club I'd say he could take over I would suggest a club like Newcastle, Wolves, Leeds, Southampton and taking them into European competition and maybe a cup win along the way would be 100% the sort of success I'd like to see.
Take away Brendan Rodgers' time at Liverpool, I'd say his trajectory would see him as a candidate in another universe... (Success at Celtic to Leicester and going steady with them) So Gerrard's trajectory should follow a similar route imo.
what if he wins the europa league with rangers (yeah i know lol)
what if he goes to say germany and does something there.
what if he decides to go to punditry.
What I do know is he would be mad to stay at rangers much longer as celtic will be back, they have more money than rangers due to 9 years of winning. If he stops celtic's 10 in a row (looks likely) then waht can he do more at rangers?
Back to Europa league point.
He would actually be lucky to find a club in england where doing much is actually possible. ITs a big big money league and survival is one thing but to win something either city and utd and cheslea all need to go out of you have to beat them. Arsenal? lol?
Last couple of games has convinced me that we need to move to 4-2-3-1 I honestly think our 4-3-3 has been figured out and putting all the creative burden on the fullbacks is stupid. Last night we had people who could change that game creatively on the bench but Klopp stuck with the bastard 4-3-3 because he's too stubborn the last couple of games has been infuriating to watch I'm sure we'll get the odd Palace game where everything flies in but in the long-term we need a formation change.
Imagine Shaq or Thiago or Minamino in a free role and taking Milner out that team last night I think we'd be comfortable winners.
nah. sorry but i don't agree.
first we don't have the "1" for upfront.
Second we don't know how to protect the full backs and the midfield 2 really have to do more work if you have a firmino as the third in a no 10 role.
Third it pins mane to either the left or right wing by default rather than roaming.
the press was not really visible yesterday. Newcastle could get out far far too easy.
We missed 7 sitters. we should have won comfortably.
The midfield 3 picked lacked any balance. all 3 want to go forward and rarely helped phillips out all he could do was roll it to fabinho or to taa if he bothered get back. The minute thiago came on the balance changed.
Its not about 433 its about work rate and balance. Balance robbed by not having vvd and gomez. Balance missing by having fabinho as CB not no 6.
Lets just get thaigo back in and buy a CB and see if we can't get fabinho to no 6 again. 433 works as the front 3 work hard and a midfielder joins as can the two full backs in an effective press.
That team yesterday had zero creativity though. The fullbacks put plenty of balls in we just don't have a poacher to get on the end of them so having a different creative outlet who doesn't rely on crossing makes sense imo.
yeah it really didn't. milner, henderson and an anonymous Jones.
Jones hung round on right side where he is less effective to accommodate milner.
the best chances we had were, taa cross field pass to mane who proceeded to muck it up passing behind salah but then milner put taa in and he failed to hit it. salah had 2 off passes through middle. firmino missed two headers off corsses of various types.
for me at our best we had guys who could spread the ball wide. right now it takes 2 or 3 passes to switch play. taa did it once and thaigo a second time and both made chances.
we seriously miss vvd for that ball to taa.
Could do with a player like Danny Ings !!!!!
