Saw Barca v Villareal last night. Barca won 3-0 but think the scoreline flattrred them slightly. Villarreal were turgid. Had decent breaks but came to nothing. Felt like a side resigned to defeat. Lewandowski scored twice. Second was a great strike too.
Barca had 9 men for half the match and Osasuna, who had the lead, still lost Also Vallecano beating Real
Never had 9 men. Only lewandowski sent off. But still la liga is very weak at the moment. Still a good comeback though and the European champions lost to rayo
I caught a bit of Majorca v Valladolid prior to & at half time of the Owls v Geordies match last night but tonight at 8pm on ITV4 it's Athletico Madrid v Barcelona , looks good on paper !
Getafe v Espanol live on viaplay extra & already 1-1 after 7 mins with 2 quality goals & an end to end spectacle so far .
Real Madrid v Valencia ' Live ' on ITV4 tonight at 8 o'clock , home side really need the win after Barca's away win last night & drawing a blank in 0-0 draw v Real Sociedad last match .
My man Rajkovic with an awesome penalty save in Mallorca's 1-0 win over Real Madrid. Barcelona eight points clear now. Nowhere near as dashing as they used to be but they are really solid. Opponents are barely creating chances now, and it reflects in the number of clean sheets and goals conceded.
Looks like Barca could be in big trouble! https://www.forbes.com/sites/tomsan...g-15-million-referee-payment-allegations/amp/
It is the Sun but bad news for Barcelona if true . Barcelona given summer transfer ban as LaLiga stop them registering players
I haven't seen this posted anywhere else, so I'm going to assume it's not accurate until I see it elsewhere. On a positive note, it was said earlier today that their is a Saudi backed investment group that are interested in purchasing Valencia from Lim.
Looks like Barcelona will take a lead back to the Nou Camp in the Copa Del Rey. I suspect the fact Madrid are still in Europe and Barca aren't will probably dictate how seriously they take this.
