Wycombe aren't giving up.
Sheffield Wednesday looked ok and Barry Bannan best players on the pitch.
I wish i had your confidence Monday away at Rotherham is a massive game in the relegation battle.
Wycombe won’t give up but finishing above 3 other sides from here is an impossible task.
We actually played better when we went down to 10 men but Smith missed the penalty so we missed out on a very useful point.
Wycombe on Monday, we need to play much better to have any chance of the 3 points.
If Wycombe beat Rotherham on Monday, you never know...
You'd think four games in hand would be a big advantage for any side, but I'd rather have the points on the board than the theoretical ones! The fact they'll play more than everyone else in a short stretch might go against them as well.
Rotherham will get out of it.
We won't I still cant believe that a team i've supported from non-league in 1974 has actually made it into The Championship, we may never get here again but at least we've done it and beaten 7 teams who should be embarrassed by losing to a little club from leafy Buckinghamshire on the edge of London that attracts glory hunters.
But will they though?
was feeling pretty good about avoiding a relegation battle after our draw against Norwich earlier, but a win for Birmingham has dragged us right back into it, it's all going to come down to how Rotherham cope with the fixture congestion
Excellent result, that’s the difference between trying to win a game and trying not to lose a game, totally different mindset under Bowyer, you make your own luck..
So many teams seasons will depend on how well Rotherham deal with their fixture pile up, hopefully watching the gap grow will be a mental blow to them.
The thing with Birmingham is we’re not a bottom six side, we just had a bottom six manager for way too long. If Bowyer had have taken over at Christmas we’d be up by now..
I wouldn't say that, take credit where it's due and be proud of the team. You earn wins!
Besides, we've had plenty other things far more embarrasing happen in recent times!
Mate, I grew up in Chesham, so it was always Watford, Chesham United and you in my youthful sporting world... you’ve had a great roller coaster enjoy the games left
Massive result for Birmingham yesterday, I said the only thing separating them and us is that we are well managed and they weren't.
Rotherham will pick up results, from what I saw yesterday they play the percentage football, putting balls into the box at every opportunity and hoping it drops to one of their players will cause problems and create chances. Their defence let them down yesterday though, especially the high line, which on another day if our strikers could control a pass properly, we would have had 2/3 big big chances. Another day though, they could have easily taken the points from us yesterday.
Some big games coming up for Rotherham with games against Birmingham and Coventry. While the 2 teams above will be worried about the games in hands, you'd much rather have the points on the board at this stage of the season when down the bottom.
I have a gut feeling at this stage that Rotherham will climb above Coventry to survive, while Birmingham will be comfortable with a couple of games to spare come the end of the season.
Sheff Wednesday look as good as down at this point.
I just see them surviving.
Nar you miss Franz Bellinghambauer.
Coventry look Abit screwed at the moment, 3 terrible results and will have to pray Rotherham or Wednesday don't wake up and start showing some fight
Theres often a surge and a collapse. Last season both ourselves and Barnsley looked dead and buried and overturned seven point defecits.
Yep. Terrible performance on Friday. We now have to make up for it and beat Bristol City today.
Sorry, I've just seen this! Started off really well when he came in the team but always had a mistake in him which sometimes costs us. He's now been dropped for Marosi, who many fans believe is the better keeper.
From up your way isn't he?
