Extremely pleased with the point gained at Brentford last night.

It adds to the pressure building on Rotherham.

This Saturday it's going to be all about our reaction to Monday's disastrous defeat to Wycombe and Huddersfield's reaction to their huge defeat last night at Norwich.

We weren't that bad in the first half against Wycombe and had loads of decent chances but somehow ended up being 2 0 down.
Second half though we were pretty useless and Wycombe deserved the victory no doubt.

Wood is back from suspension thankfully, because for all his lack of pace we definitely miss his organisation abilities when he's missing.
We could really do with at least a point to get us going in the right direction with games against QPR, Coventry and Birmingham all at home to follow.

It's a tall order to escape now but one things for sure, we will know in the next 10 days or so if we've blown our chances.

The key for me here is Rotherham. They have 4 games in hand but are bottom of current form table over the past 10 games with their home form being awful.

10 games in 28 days is brutal though, especially towards the tail end of the season. I can see a lot of high scoring matches in these for Rotherham as they have to go gung ho to win, draws aren't really enough at this stage of the season.

All eyes will be on the game between Rotherham v Birmingham on the 18th, a game that Rotherham have to win.

I can't see Rotherham clawing their way out of this one, will be well and truly deserved if they do though. Birmingham's final fixtures are against teams with not a lot to play for, can easily see them reaching 48/50 points, meaning Rotherham would need to get 13 points from the remaining 10 games at 1.3 points per game. They are currently at 0.972 point per game, lose 2 matches and all of a sudden they'd have to turn into play-off contender form to beat the drop at this late stage with a fixture pile up.

You’re assuming it’s Rotherham or Blues who join Wednesday and Wycombe then? We’ve just clawed seven points from our last four games against Watford, Reading, Swansea and Brentford. That ain’t relegation form, that’s up by Christmas form..

Given that you are 21st, and played the most games in the bottom 5. It's a fair assumption to make.

Birmingham are the best team in the country after scoring three goals in four games, one of which was a penalty.

Fair comment. I think there’s going to be some bizarre scores in the next couple of weeks, teams with everything to fight for playing against teams with no incentive in front of empty stadiums. Those teams that want it most should be OK. This is why I think Blues will be fine because Bowyer will demand that the players fight for everything..

Add to this the fact that we’ve only conceded one goal in three games against top six sides and you wonder why we’re not playing champions league football..

It's a bizarre situation as well; I don't think we've had a season where there are about 4 weeks left, and one side has played 4 games less than the majority of teams around them in a relegation battle.

The two games Rotherham have back to back against Coventry and then yourselves will be massive. Two 6 pointers in every sense of the meaning.

Looks like Rotherham's lack of quality in front of goal will be their downfall.

Rough on Wycombe. Harsh red and then we overrun them with seven or eight attacking players.

I think anyone going into the Birmingham job would have turned it round TBH.
The players obviously just didn't like Karanka and wanted him gone.
