Rotherham now in front v QPR...
Massive lifeline for Rotherham... squeaky bum time at the bottom (although I’m fairly sure we’re safe now...).
Rotherham v Cov on Thursday is HUGE!
It’s too much to ask for Derby to get relegated isn’t it?
I never thought I'd ever say this but ...Cmon Rotherham, you can do it.
The players worked really hard for that we made 4 changes and they held a good QPR side until a great control and strike by Dykes put us 1 0 down.
Wood had come on at half time but Wing, Lindsay and Smith came on straight after after Dykes goal and changed the whole momentum of the match.
Ladapo suddenly woke up and scored a similar goak to QPR's then broke the offside trap foe a coo; finish in a one on one.
Smith completed a great night with a run from just inside his own half and great finish to calm my nerves.
Make no mistake, QPR came to win this one and until they scored were the best team but we are if nothing else fighters and deserved the win in the end.
Credit to QPR though for being the only side this season to have come to NYS and not have players falling over and squeeling for non existant fouls.
On to the Coventry game on Thursday which now becomes a must not lose match rather than a must win.
There's a lot we played who go down screaming like they been hit by a jap sniper.
Huge win for Rotherham!
Our next games: Derby, Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield, Rotherham and Birmingham
Well done Rotherham for keeping interest in the relegation battle for survival alive.
I’m sure it was thoroughly deserved but at what cost? It must have used up a lot of your reserves to recover from being behind.
I hope you stay up tbh it was the first time you have won after going behind this season. That speaks volumes for the fight that remains in your squad.
Both sides have to go for the win as a draw doesn't really help either side.
I don't think a draw benefits either team. Surely they have to go for a win? It looks like Wednesday and Wycombe are doomed now.
Coventry are currently seeing if they can delay going back to the Ricoh for another year until they’re back in the championship..
I'm sure Warney will want a win but now we have an unexpected 3 points from QPR a draw wouldn't be the end of the world because we would have 2 games in hand and be 3 points behind with a better goal difference.
No, we're not.
Oh yes you are.
Hoping the Coventry rumour about delaying the return to the Ricoh, is unfounded.
The pitch at St Andrews can’t cope with two teams using it all season.
A draw tonight would probably be the best result for those hoping to escape relegation.
Without a crystal ball to predict the remaining games a draw has to be the best result for the remaining relegation threatened clubs with a point each and a point disappearing into thin air, that's the way I see it anyway
A couple of red cards and a few pulled hamstrings wouldn't go amiss either!
Surely you don't need to wish ill on little old Rotherham in order to finish above them
Agreed, that is why I think both sides will go for the win.
Warne always sets out to win the game, in fact we have only drawn 6 games all season.
It also explains why we have lost so many games by the odd goal, as we often get caught out by the pace opposing teams have in this division.
We rarely have much possession over about 38 percent but we do tend to have a lot of attempts on goal.
Obviouly though, a lot are off target otherwise we wouldn't be in the bottom three.
I'm really not looking forward to tonights game
