This short term strategy is slightly worrying but I'm pretty happy with Delap & Cannon. Both highly rated youngsters who need the right environment, hopefully it's Deepdale.

Burnley have bid twice for Michael Obafemi, both bids rejected - the highest offer being in the region of £2.5 million. I fully expect him to end the window there, but we'll just be holding out for a slightly higher offer. He'll probably end up going deadline day with how we've operated recently.
Talk that Gavin Killkenny's loan at Stoke will be cancelled and a move to Blackburn done, possibly permanent. 22 now and always been 'nearly' first choice, needs minutes. Hasn't happened for him at Stoke, but he has class for us in patches last season.
There was a bid reportedly rejected from Burnley in that region in the summer, but a large proportion of that was meant to be add-ons. It'll probably be how this deal ends up going, but his lack of football recently will probably see him go for a bit less then we'd have got in the summer.
Indifferent. I don’t rate him particularly but then we aren’t going to get anything better at the moment so no choice but just to get behind him and hope something clicks for him. I won’t hold my breath though.
Seems Cantwell is indeed in advanced talks with Rangers, a real shame it shame that it went the way it did with him. A classy, game impacting player that can do things most players can't - when he was mentally with it. I'd imagine the fans up there will help him grow up. It seems that he believes a misunderstood genius when really he's just a bit of a dickhead who needs to knuckle down.
Not a rumour, but Blues have signed 21 year old Reda Khadra on loan from Brighton. He's played and won some gongs for Borussia Dortmund U17's and seems quite the prospect. Might be a good acquisition at this level. Might not..
