Perhaps, but a player who doesn't really fit usual Rowett's profile. He is the one who got rid of Smith so we could bring in Afobe.
You Brizzle folk dominated the forum a few years back You couldn’t get a word in edgeways as there must’ve been at least 8 or 9 of you posting consistently.
That is your opinion. Personally, after the way he has performed for us, and after the World Cup he had I will be annoyed if we let him go for less (just my opinion). Then again, this is Stoke City I am talking about so we probably will. Stupid ****ing FFP as well means we probably will let him go cheaper
Light is pretty dim. 0 minutes for the Lille 1st team this term and just two starts last season as a winger. Didn't make much of an impact but if he made the U21 (where competition is stiff) then he must be doing something right. Don't have a fee but it doesn't seem like a big risk for Sunderland. If he flops, you can loan him to some L1 side, if he doesn't good on your first team. Keep me posted.
To be honest I haven’t seen that much of him as not watched all our games this season. What I did see though I liked. @SamB_SCFC or @Deacon27 can probably give you a better overview of him.
Thank you for that. Apparently he was linked with Barcelona, Dortmund, Man Utd etc when he was younger but a shin injury put pay to that, so I’m hoping he must have something about him.
A few rough edges but in general he did an okay job for us. Injuries early in the season didn't help. If he gets a consistent run of games in League One it could be the making of him.
Better going forward than in defence. Made a few costly defensive mistakes over the Christmas period which is probably why we've let him go but going forward he looks promising and might do well in League One. But like all the loan players who have gone back, not particularly disappointed to see him go any hopefully the money saved on wages can go on someone better.
Rumours that we have told Ovie Ejaria he can leave this January Was good for us and steadily improving over his first two years here as an exciting skilful player, but the last two seasons for various unverified reasons he has barely had a look, and when he does play has contributed little. Imagine he would be fairly cheap, and given his age and potential ability if the right club signed him and put him on the right development path then it would be a bargain for them..
I'd be happy with him as our long term Daniel Johnson replacement. But doubt we'd pay him what he wants, or give you a decent fee.
Rumors that 2 champtionship clubs are bidding on Dykes, and not Millwall. The itk guy said its Boro and Burnley with the latest bid being 5m.
