I don't drink tea, but the wife and nost of our family and friends do. I am always the one that has to make it (even though I don't drink it), and everyone says it weird that I don't drink tea, because when they have tea at our house it is alway tastes better. The reason, we buy Twinings. As I said, I don't drink it, but even I could taste the difference between a cheap tea bag and Twinings. I have never seen that Dark Brew, but I will pick a box up next time I am at the shop and ley them try it out.
Adding my bit to the tea debate. I add nicely smashed small ginger pieces or cardamom leaves (only the leaves) to my tea when it's brewing. And milk should always be the last thing that goes in
I'm sorry, I can't take the 'when do you put milk in tea' opinion of someone who has ginger in their tea seriously.
It really doesn't matter which way the milk is put in a fecking cup of tea. It makes no difference whatsoever. If I'm rushing about doing other things I'll put it in last, but if I'm just waiting around I'll put it in first. As for types of tea, there's only Earl Grey
The wife drinks Chai Vanilla tea ,I've tried it just the once on her insistence, but it's not for me.
You can just work it out by putting the right amount of milk in either way. Not worked out how to make a brew to your tastes yet?
I like to brew the tea for 48 seconds before adding milk. Depending on tea quality I'll add milk accordingly to match the quality of brew. It's not rocket science but milk first is pure madness. Also if your running short on milk...adding it first could spoil the whole brew for yourself and the vicar.
