Any stipulations on the temperature as well.....?
Agreed shocking decision and surely more Money to be had if it was in England ticket sales wise.
In a one off final anything can happen for sure.
Wonder what happens on Saturday will have any mental edge for the final.
Last time we beat them 6 0 at Etihad and then just about won on Penalties at Wembley.
Some of the insults about Villa Park on twitter are unbelievable , I get the feeling some people have never been there . Perfect place for 8000 fans during a pandemic , halfway between both clubs .No brainer to me .
Thing is though the atmosphere is brilliant. Bang on about the distance too.
Not sure it'd be 8,000.
It's an 8,000 allocation because it's a 25,000 capacity in Turkey.
I presume, in line with UK Covid rules, that it'd only be a 10,000 capacity if moved to a stadium over here.
Presumably two thirds of that would go to UEFA's mates so City / Chelsea would be lucky to get more than 1,500 each I reckon.
It’s never going to be moved...... Unless it’s somewhere even more difficult to get too.... This is 2 teams which were going to go to the ESL so I can’t see UEFA being very accommodating.
Surely people's health comes before political point scoring ? Oh hang on where have i been for the last 18 months.
Be fifa wankers who've never been a home game never mind an away one, one of best stadiums in England
We’ve just had a high profile game called off due to protests, we had protests delay the Chelsea game recently. Do you honestly think UEFA are going to risk the possibility by playing it over here?
Turkey added to the red list which will have ramifications on anyone traveling - presumably players included who'd have to isolate on return before the Euros?
Villa Park or Old Trafford as Wembley has got the play off finals ?
White hart lane would be ideal
Really just a stones throw from Chelsea , Villa Park is the sensible option, there is a reason it has held more FA cup semi finals .than any other ground.
You may not agree with it but it's not glamorous enough for a CL final in their eyes they'll go for West ham or Spurs grounds before it imo because they're bowls.
West Ham if not Villa Park please.
Bad enough Chelsea could win it, don't make it happen in our stadium FFS
Their last CL win was depressing enough.
Please not West Ham worst ground I’ve been to..... soulless crap bowl
Perfect for the two finalists then
