Yes - so many hangers on who won’t be allowed in by the Government and understandably so.
3000 exemptions? Christ
UEFA, custodians of the beautiful game, protecting fans from the nasty corporate vultures. Just don’t mess with their free lunch.
Hope for the fans it's moved to Wembley but for me personally watching would prefer stadium of light in Portugal. Don't like the Wembley low tv camera angle.
Porto it is. Did no one check with Zippy if it was okay to move the location?
Shame it wasn’t Wembley (or the “Tottenham Hotspur Stadium”).
I see what you mean
Official appointed is known for being whistle happy.
Fernandinho to get sent off in the 30th minute then.
Is it the Turkish guy?
Let’s hope the game isn’t ruined by VAR.
I gave my permission.
If we've said no because of the sheer and ridiculous amount of concessions UEFA wanted then I think it's the right decision.
6,000 for each set of fans.
More than they were getting in Istanbul and probably more than they'd have been allowed at Wembley.
Bit of hassle for fans but a trip to Porto at the end of the month will be nice for those that go.
what hassle? Piece of piss.
Meanwhile we get 4 test, 10 day quarantine in Poland. Be surprised if we shift 2000 tickets or whatever it is.
There's still a bit more hassle than a domestic trip, particularly during a pandemic. The logistics and costs of a trip in Portugal make cause some challenges.
Portugal's already pretty in demand given the limited options on the green list and now you've potentially got another 12,000 looking for flights and hotels with a short turnaround.
Obviously still better than having to go to Poland at the moment but it's still a hassle to plan with just two weeks until the final. I don't know if any of the lads on here are planning on going but it's nowhere near as convenient as a final in England would have been - the upside is more fans will probably be able to attend.
Apparently Portugal won’t be allowing any Brits in until the 30th May...
This was in the Sun - could be banned from the 17th allegedly.
Thousands of Brits could be 'turned away' from Portugal after May 17 in EU ban
Basically got to be a day trip with your own bubble.
Final fans must leave straight after game
More details to come out today but it sounds like fans will have to effectively buy a travel package which includes their plane and transport to and from the airport to the stadium and they will be dropped off at a point where they will be in a restricted zone.
It sounds like the worst away day experience you are going to have!
I might start supporting City if they win it. Have to see. Only if they win it.
Chelsea fans need to get ready for a loss.
Quite a few already booked
