I suppose if it takes the pressure off a bit then its sensible, even if that's not what is being said in the dressing room.

Williams loves Guardiola, this is straight out of his playbook. He is also probably right, hard to see Wrexham dropping points at the moment, although Barnet have proven today that will be a tough game.

Whoever runs Notts County Zone loves attention and there are lots of people who give it to them.

Surely Wrexham just buy a good goalkeeper rather than risk it.

Yep Colclough is absolutely class, he was MOTM for sure but Virgo has his favourites.

    We will in the summer

Personally I think Howard and Watson are more than good enough for the run in.

Sounds like you've correctly deployed Jordan Cropper?

He’s actually been very good so far - our first choice Wynter is back in the next 2 weeks & it was only a 1 month loan so wonder if it’ll be extended. Wouldn’t mind having him in the play offs after last season for sure!

Colclough has massively (pleasantly) surprised me. I knew he was decent from what I’d seen of him against us before, but did not realise quite how good he actually is. Two footed, quick, excellent dribbling ability, rarely puts in a poor cross and has an eye for a goal… that Alty fan on here was right!! So yeah I’d defo cut the Woking RB a bit of slack for his performance today.

With him, Dallas, Mandeville & now Dobra back in the fold after injury, all of a sudden we’ve got some real quality in those 3 positions behind the striker. Need them all to chip in with goals between now and the end of the season though as I don’t trust any of our number 9’s in front of goal atm

Don't think anyone will fancy playing Chesterfield in the playoffs based on today's evidence, particularly if they improve their finishing.

Looks like Lainton could possibly be out for a while if it's worst case.
Will no doubt be assessed tomorrow and if needed, we will take action...
Fingers crossed it was a tweak..

Their finishing is truly awful. Quigley is basically a meme and he looks thick too, like he genuinely can't believe how he misses chance after chance. Trigger off Only Fools.

Dallas is hugely overrated, he's not someone you'd count on finishing a pressure chance when it matters.

It's weird how for most of this season it's been the amount of games we've drawn that has put us in the perilous position we're in, but in the last week it's those odd points which have given us hope

It was a great point but the players we've lost during the game will cost us big time. D'ath and Agbaje probably out for the season (how the Halifax player wasn't sent off for GBH on Edwin is beyond ridiculous) and Worthington is now suspended for two games. No wonder we're going to sign four players this week that we were planning to wait until the summer to bring in

Just extended his contract to next year too.

I love the guy, I think he's the best goalkeeper at this level when he's fit but he's injured so often. In the summer I think we go big with a young keeper that can grow with us.

That when yours got pushed head first over the advertising boards? That's Stott all over absolute liability

I'm worried Howard will cost us more points, and any dropped points are crucial. I disagree that he's good enough, not sure about Watson.

Stott played like a total dickhead in the opening match of the season against us and was deservedly sent off for a truly brainless second yellow. It looks like that’s his default way of playing.
