Our local rag saying fat frank set to be interviewed
Not sure if he's any good as a manager. I'd be concerned that he lost motivation after losing his dream job.
Be very different to Big Sam!
Yes - will he have the hunger to keep going if things start badly?
Wilder nailed on by the sounds of it
League one, is where your lot are often found we on the other hand have only suffered that indignity once. :-)

Sad to hear.

Yeah I remember him quite well, terrible shame.
Michael appleton now fav....
is it looking likely that you’ll keep Robinson? I did think he might have earned another Prem move, he’ll tear this League up if he stays.
It is my understanding Chris Wilder was the unanimous choice of Albion's board to be the club's next manager. But that decision was blocked by Guochuan Lai due to the strained relationship Wilder had with the owners at Sheffield United
Our board are clowns
Good luck to wagner though
If he gets the backing of the board, has a good relationship with the chairman and has the fans behind him I think he’ll take you straight back up. Unfortunately I don’t think he will so will be gone by Xmas I feel. Shame, because I really do think he would do well for you.
I've mentioned before Wagner seems abit of a one hit wonder to me like alot of promotion winning managers of the mid 00s.
I often get proved wrong though so who knows but it dosent seem like a good fit to me
Yeah bit worried about wagner tbf. But will see. Owner has to speak to fans though and explain reasoning..
Wagner did a good job at Huddersfield but, as I said before, he got promoted with a negative goal difference and stayed up with a very low goals scored tally. Since the second season in the Premier League he's barely won football matches, it seems.
Our board looked at Wagner very seriously last season, he was interviewed once or twice and was high up the list. For whatever reason they weren't quite convinced, but personally he was one of my preferred picks.
The goal difference stat often gets raised, but from what I saw it wasn't at if the football played by that Hudds side was dire? Though he had to make the most of a limited squad certainly. He'll have more options at his disposal with WBA you'd think. Wouldn't be surprised to see him have a good 2-3 years there, then fall apart somewhat like it did at Hudds. Maybe he's just that sort of manager, where it can only work for a limited time. But for what West Brom want, it'll work.
