Yeah i admit Reynolds was very annoying and as you say Biel was stunning.
Thor Love & Thunder
Not as good as Ragnarok but a fun watch this with a nice ending. Christian Bale was great as the God Butcher.
Nightmare On Elm Street. 1984.
Now this takes me back to my teenage years. Loved this film as a young man.
One, two Freddie's coming for you.
Three, four better lock your door.
I watched it earlier this week and it was Johnny Depp's film debut,it was enjoyable but i recall the 2nd film was crap with a different director but the 3rd film Dream Warriors with the original was my favourite with some comical deaths.
Love the soundtrack from the film. Haunting music which is appropriate for a horror.
Memphis Belle (1990)
The story of a US bomber crew who head to Bremen to destroy a factory on their 25th mission and if the make it home they can go back to America, the scenes in the air were pretty good and full of tension throughout. 8/10.
A superb film based on the true story Of England's most Notorious hangman Albert Pierrepoint who started his career in 1933 and even went to Germany to hang the beasts of Belsen concentration camp,Timothy Spall was outstanding as Pierrepoint as was Juliet Stevenson as his wife. 8.8/10.
Escape From Alcatraz.
1979 starring the one and only Clinton Eastwood.
Brilliant film based on a true story.
The Bowie thing, directed by Brett Morgen. It's very busy but visually stunning as the images take you on a journey through David's career pretty much starting with Ziggy right through to his final album. Amazing footage of his early concerts but I do have a criticism and that is that it was too splintered and too fast paced. It didn't help that for the last hour I was dying for a piss but darent get up as the cinema was packed..
Yeah, one of Spall's best performances in that film. He made hanging a scientific artform, but you could start to see the toll it put on him during the Nuremberg Trials.
Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon
Girl with 'powers' escapes from a mental asylum by using said powers, goes on not particularly interesting adventure whilst the authorities try to track her down. Nothing original, nothing memorable, dull.
Can't say the film's at fault for not being original when you've decided to watch one about powers, the most most trite and played-out concept of cinema for the last decade +
Get a dinosaur film on.
Yes I can, and I did.
If I do anything this coming week it will be putting the time aside to watch that.
king arthur: legend of the sword (2017)
why, guy ritchie? why?
The girl in the spider’s web- 7/10
The Italian job (2003)
Not even a tenth as good as the original I'm afraid. In fact, I found it to be a bit of a snoozefest. 0.9/10.
An absolute stinker of a film with some crap acting.
Not as good as i remember but not a bad film,i bought the quadrilogy in a local animal charity shop for £2 so i can't complain and i'll watch Aliens tomorrow. 7.8/10.
