I'm getting prompts to 'upgrade'. Anyone already done it? Is it worthwhile?

Me too, been putting it off. Wary of changing before I know.

I've read they've mucked about with the taskbar, but not read much else either for or against.

Yes - aside from the start menu/taskbar being a bit weird it seems okay so far.

Being able to download Android apps from the Windows Store is cool.

Apparently my processor isn't yet "supported", I haven't been too bothered to research to find out why yet.

When I booted my laptop this afternoon it presented a blue splash screen exhorting me to 'try' Windows 11, or 'pass for now'. I chose the latter but all my font sizes, icon sizes and page sizes were changed, leaving the desktop looking like Mr Magoo used it last. I checked screen res and it was right, checked settings in Firefox and that was right, changed a load of page sizes one at a time and the desktop icons, but loads of it was still cobblers. Rebooted and all settings returned to normal, except all the ones I'd changed manually so I had to change them all back . . . obviously total coincidence.

My Laptop doesn't meet the criteria. Don't really plan on upgrading to be honest.

from what little research i have done on this (as my laptop is prompting the same), the consensus is let Windows sort out the bugs first, then upgrade after they have patched it.

this is typically a year after initial release

I got an update to Windows 11 (22H2) but I've already got Windows 11) is it not out yet but it's asking me to update but it's failing to install after downloading a long time any thoughts?
