11 years to go (for the men's). Just found out the Americans are hosting the next Copa America in 2024 (what a ****ing joke btw, this is a Central and South American tournament, the US are only invited to make up the numbers!) 2 years before the big World Cup so I expect them to bid to host the 2027 Women's World Cup too (so far, their interest hasn't been confirmed).
Spurs still without a win since beating Brighton 8-0 in October. Nine league defeats on the bounce, sleepwalking towards relegation at this rate. Tottenham (10th) v Leicester (12th) on Wednesday. Probably a season-defining game and certainly a must win.
1 win can see us go up to 9th, the new keeper is the key difference, Remy Siemsen starting to play and getting fitter could be the missing link
Well looks like you have sacked a manager . Tottenham sack manager Rehanne Skinner after nine straight WSL defeats
Counteracts my point about sleepwalking to relegation. Not too surprised Spurs have acted given results.
It's not a central American tournament only south American so the 2 teams invited can be from anywhere in the world. The US have been there before so not a one off just for world cup preparation. Better to have quality teams there anyway and the US are one of the best outside South America and Europe
All 4 matches in the Women's Champions League Quarterfinals were 1-0 wins Only 1 home win (from Bayern)
Means "Empire of the Franken" It comes from the germanic tribe "Franken" (we still have a region in Germany called Franken, it's in Bavaria (Nürnberg, Fürth are in it)
Frankenreich (abbreviated to Frankreich) = Reich der Franken (Empire of the Franken) but Frankish Empire is also ok. Frankish (Fränkisch in German) is the adjective
On way to Minihad, need beat Chelsea for any chance at Title, never thought we'd be anywhere near after losing half the team and also bad start, come on City Wenches
Blown the title race wide open. It’s still advantage Chelsea but any one of four sides can win it with just six games remaining.
