Sorry for the interruption of english women's football because actually there's a bit of a "mutiny" at the women's national team of Spain.

15 players announced their retirement at the same time in similar statements. They're unhapy with the women's national team coach Jorge Vilda and they want to get rid of him.
Vilda has this job since 2015 and has a valid contract until 2024. Will be interesting to see how the Spanish FA reacts.

Very naive to think a group of women will shut up.

Natter, natter, natter. They love hearing their own voices.

Spurs 1-0 down in the first few minutes of the "derby" and could be more.
Just a pointless one sided game. This'll be another drubbing.

Arsenal have claimed over 50,000 tickets have been sold for this derby in the lead up to the game. Would no doubt be the biggest ever attendance for Arsenal Women (I think)

Previous English club record was the reverse fixture at Spurs (38,000ish in 2019).

For what it's worth I was at that one too. Spurs kept the scoreline respectable and only lost 2-0.

The growth of the game is great, the numbers attending this season will blow previous seasons out of the water but I can't take any rivalry between the two clubs seriously. Arsenal v Chelsea is the big derby in the women's game. Arsenal are too far clear of Spurs for the North London derby to be enjoyable, certainly from a Spurs perspective but even Arsenal fans enjoyment must be minimal. They've never tasted defeat in this fixture.

    It isn't :D

Spurs are getting there though. Arsenal needed a 90th+ minute equaliser in the reverse last season.

They've shown improvement in some of the big games. Good results against the big three last season but it still doesn't feel much of a rivalry because of how big the gap is.
