Xbox will continue to lose to Sony until they start actually investing in big budget first party titles.
Xbox 1 was q huge disappointment because all it had was EA titles and Call of Duty, i.e. no good exclusives (Sea of Thieves aside). They bought up a load of developers, so hopefully that investment starts to show some return soon.
Out on Game Pass in a couple of days. Looks great and it's from Justin Roiland so it's guaranteed to be good!
High on Life turned out to be a dud but since then I've played and finished A Plague Tale: Requiem and As Dusk Falls, both very good story driven games. Highly recommend both.
Played about an hour on High On Life and thought it was cack. I completed the original Plague Tale on PC about two years back, will go for the second one in the coming months. I saw it on Game Pass.
I thought the gun play and enemy AI ruined High on Life. I enjoyed the juvenile humor and it did look quite nice but yeah, game play really felt like you were going through the motions. Plague Tale is great. Fun game play, 10/10 story and looks great as well. Some small graphical issues like it sometimes turning blurry? I read afterwards that you can turn chromatic abrasion off in the settings and that fixes it, so heads up on that. Was too late for me though. .
Yes, I know which one you are taking about now. There's another game called Blight, which must be the zombie one that I have also seen. It's a bit more MGS though.
On the exclusives debate, most top PS games come to PC now. Been playing God of war, Horizon, Spiderman and Days gone on my Steam Deck. Miles Morales also out, with Last of us soon. OK a few years late but with so many games to play not a problem having to wait. They go dirt cheap as well unlike rip off PS prices. It's a bit easy but am enjoying the brainless fun, pretty funny game. I got bored of running from 1 bush to another in Plague, stealth games aren't for me. I'll check out As dusk falls. Some interesting games launching on Game Pass soon... Wo Long fallen dynasty, and Atomic Heart. Starfield has loads of hype.
