Limiting it to players who I've seen since following the club:

    Alisson
    Trent
    Hyypia
    Van Dijk
    Robertson
    Mascherano
    Alonso
    Gerrard
    Mane
    Suarez
    Salah

You can make cases for Henderson and Fabinho in that midfield given their service and contribution to major titles won too but I reckon as players Mascherano and Alonso were overall better.

These are my favourites. I started supporting the club from 2002, so these are the ones I have watched.

    ---------------------------Reina------------------------
    Trent----------VVD-------------Agger-----Robertson
    -------------------Thaigo-----Alonso-------------
    Salah-----------------Gerrard------------Garcia
    --------------------------Torres----------------------------

Feels harsh on Fabinho with the quality and influence he’s shown since signing but that midfield three of Gerrard, Mascherano and Alonso is one of the strongest and most balanced in PL history IMO.

Gerrard must livid Henderson has PL title with Liverpool though. The success he’s had is remarkable considering how far he’s off the other players in quality.

Seemingly didn't do this at the time of the thread so here's the best that I've seen. Born in 88, first Spurs memories mid-late 90's I guess.

    Lloris
    Alderweireld - King - Vertonghen
    Bale - Eriksen - Dembele - Modric - Ginola
    Kane - Son
    Manager: Pochettino

Quite a few that it pains me to leave out of the team and it's probably not very balanced but it'd be fun to watch.

10/11 players in my team are still at Liverpool
The 1 that isn't is Mane
On a side note, I believe FF's average age is 35-40

Rather than start a new thread, or do my team again (as I only answered a mere 3 years ago), here's my favourite all time XI of players from all teams that have played in my time watching football. One or two were left out to make it a functional XI:

    Schmeichel

    Maldini
    Puyol
    Nesta
    Neville

    Robson
    Scholes
    Michael Hughes

    Ronaldinho
    Inzaghi
    Baggio

Best XI in my lifetime would probably be something like

    Sanchez
    Veltman - Dunk - Upson - Bridge
Bissouma - Caicedo - Mac Allister
    Knockaert - Zamora - Vicente

Obviously Bruno & Cucurella can f*ck off though

Also, having defenders with really short names absolutely f*cks the formatting.

    Since I've been going
    Schwarzer
    Baird Hangeland Hughes Konchesky
    Palhinha Murphy Dembele
    Gera Mitrovic Duff
The only harsh omissions are Davies and Dempsey for me. Other players are more talented (Berbatov) but this pretty much wrote itself for me, from 2006-present. Cult heroes from Championship missing, Cairney, Ream, Odoi etc, but this is pretty much spot on.

United 03-Present, don't think there's going to be many surprises here

    Van Der Sar
    Neville - Vidic - Ferdinand - Evra
    Ronaldo (08 version) - Scholes - Park - Giggs
    Rooney - Berbatov

Scary to think I'm not sure anyone since Fergie even comes close to making the list.

If I stick to “best” it’s probably just the current team, so will go with a bit of a mix of best and favourite.

    Raya

    O’Connor - Jansson - Sodje - Hreidarsson

    Jota - Norgaard - Judge - Benrahma

    Toney - Watkins

    Honourable mentions / bench:
    Nelson - Turner - Henry - Evans - Tabb - Campbell - Owusu

Mate he’s magnificent. Could easily be recency bias as to why he’s here but he’s absolutely phenomenal. Won’t be here longer than 2024 x

There must be another thread somewhere, because I’ve posted my favourite before and now can’t find it.

Found it but can’t post a link for some reason.

Three years later I'd say Alisson must surely be pushing Clemence for our greatest ever goalie slot.
Salah, edging closer to the side...although who the hell gets dropped god only knows as the three I already have are absolute Liverpool legends and pretty much undroppable.
Van Dijk in for Lawrenson too is a big maybe, although Hansen and Lawrenson were just about the best CB pairing Ive seen.

You just missed the great team with VDS, Saha, Boa Morte, and Malbranque as well, and you haven't included Diop either. It's actually amazing how many great players you have had since the start of the millenium.

Yeah, Fulham have had some great players in their Premier League years. Wonder which side could stake a claim to the best of the sides outside the usual big 9 or so teams since 1992.
