I'd say Oxford's ground out of the 92. Miles out of town, miles away from the train station, surrounded by an out of town leisure complex that actually dwarfs the stadium, a massive car park which doubles up literally as an away end (no 4th stand). The area around it stinks due to where it is and it's a new build all seater stadium but with poor facilities. It's the worst of all worlds really. Putting a decent terrace up behind the other goal would probably elevate it past the Madesjski at least. They also don't own it, it's new and the fans have no real affinity for the place as they pay exorbitant rent to the parasite who owns it.

A shame as Oxford is a great city and makes for a great away day but the Kassam is awful.

The Darlington arena. The new one they had a few years back, but I don’t think they’re there anymore. Correct me if I’m wrong.

It’s another oval souled bowl. There’s no character and the whole place just felt dead. Shame.

Old Trafford in current capacity. :frog::frog:

We have need update Old Trafford off in the rough 7,000 or rethink well and truly to fresh home ground like 36,500 pew rather.

I like old trafford, by far the best of the big grounds and still feels like a football ground instead of a corporate bowl, capable of making a hell of a racket on it's day too

Agreed, and for this reason I hope it never changes.

Completely agree with the comments about Colchester having a terrible ground. It is soulless.

I never wanted to leave Layer Road. It was run down but it was a million times better than what we have now.

The unlit bridge over the A12 back to the car park was a particular delight of one evening visit I made and even more delightful than the tonking we took on the field.

I went to an FA Cup game at the Olympic Stadium (pleasing to see others joining my stubborn refusal to use the London Stadium name) a few years ago and felt even further away from the play than at either Don Valley or Gateshead as the athletics stadia I experienced. I daresay it would have been a better experience for the completion of our playoff miracle a couple of years ago but Easyjet saw to it that I couldn't get back from holiday to find out.
