You could easily rest a lot of players and still have a starting XI that most clubs can only dream of. Pep's whinging is becoming more tiresome than Klopp's
Can I just say, having watched this interview, he's right. Chelsea didn't play mid week, we did. Yes they do have a game in mid week next week, but that isn't entirely relevant as it doesn't impact the match today too much. I don't think he's suggesting we are the only team this happens to, I am sure he is more than aware other teams play in the CL too. He's generally saying the scheduling is shit, which to be fair it is I'd also like to add that yes our squad is insanely talented, however it's also the thinnest out of all of the big teams. Not that I'm trying to claim poverty here by any means.
Funny that it was us that looked knackered the 2nd half and only reacted to changes for subs but that’s Poch in a nutshell.
What a weird response and an even weirder justification so it's bad that Man City have had to play 3 days after their Champions League failure because that impacted this match but it would be fine for Chelsea to play a Premier League match 2 days after the FA Cup tie? How is this not relevant to the argument? We've had Wednesday/Saturday matches for decades and yet it's only in the Klopp/Pep era that it's become a problem. And strangely scheduling didn't seem to be much of a problem for either Man City or Liverpool when they were signing up for the Super League. It's just pathetic whinging that is rightfully being mocked up and down the land
But he didn't suggest that it was fine that Chelsea are playing this week, he's just annoyed about the team he manages? Whether you agree with him or not, I'm calling out your suggestion that Pep thinks it's only us with this issue, obviously he's aware it's not just us. It's also not only Pep or Klopp that complains about it is it? (Although admittedly they do slightly more than others) I would also add that it hasn't only been a problem in the Klopp and Pep era either, for decades managers have been complaining
Just home, plastic ****s asking me and lad sit down, **** off ****s Finally won, we were shit they were shitter. Onto the final
I love how Chelsea fans always find a way to blame Poch when your players let you down time and time again. Today was just like the league cup against Liverpool, no reason you should have lost except for terrible finishing. Nothing Poch did wrong today.
90 minutes of football doesn’t change the past 9 months nor is our lack of quality not mutually exclusive to Poch’s poor game management.
Poch isn't the best but players like Jackson and Sterling have let the club down just as much as Poch. Almost everyone but Palmer has been a letdown no matter what lineup is picked.
Has he even done it that much? I don't think he's done it enough for it to by tiresome from him, its not really something he ever does really. Klopp yes, the worst for it, the geezer has been crying like a little girl at every opportunity since he took the Liverpool job and it doesn't just stop at the schedule, the entire world is out to get Liverpool, the guy is tedious as fcuk.
To Klopps credit, he's convinced every Liverpool fan that it's them against the world. Every forum you go to, they all have that attitude.
Keeper needs to get that if he goes for it. This game was dull, so hopefully that goal will bring it to life.
This feels like an anti-climax. Know United obviously have far better players, but was hoping Cov could get at them a little more.
Posh fans , City fans & now Utd fans have all been situated in the East Stand & have all won & who are winning & all 3 games so far have been damp squibs . Surprised Cov haven't tried pace against Maguire & Casemiro , seems logical to me . 2-0 , game over , Cov's fans have turned up but players haven't , so far , against a bang average Utd team.
