In a nutshell. Garnacho at Arsenal, ah tiny margin but that's the technology! Yesterday- complete robbery.

If that was United who had that goal disallowed the reaction would be completely different, anyone saying otherwise is a complete liar

What a rollercoaster that was, I always find it humourous when adults cry over football. When we equalised, it was a proud moment, I felt myself welling up . If that goal would have stood, I would have been one of those crying on TV.

Football can be so cruel, down and out, then coming back from 3-0. Having a goal incorrectly disallowed to win it then saving the first penalty. Only to lose it. Savage.

We lost but the performance the players put in the second half was something to be proud of. No one (outside Cov) will remember it but I hope that being the best team for 3 halves of football against 2 mid table PL clubs it will give the players confidence for next year.

The United fans after the game were respectful but I have to say the team is full of massively unlikeable players. Onana, should have been sent off for time wasting, it was pathetic. Antony & Bruno are little rats. Fair play to Maguire, he gets some pelters but he showed his class when they won the shootout. Decent bloke.

The (our) atmosphere was incredible, I'll remember that day for a long while.

And finally f*ck VAR!!!! The frame that was used and then the line that was drawn, when it's that close it can't/shouldn't be ruled offside because it's still up for interpretation. Ruined potentially the greatest comeback if the FA cup. The VAR guy is definitely a UTD fan (sorry Forest ;)).

Come on now Man City, give them a damn good thrashing.

Indeed, that was my first thought when VAR confirmed that ridiculous 'handball' penalty decision.

Well that is part of the problem - the feeling that VAR is just there to help the big clubs etc.

Even seen comments going around saying had you scored that goal it would have been given because it was Manchester United and the FA/TV producers want a Manchester derby final.

Like wise had you scored it and then seen it disallowed there probably wouldn't be all the fuss made about how unfair that was and against the spirit of the game.

It actually just gets very childish at times and ends up taking away from a real discussion about VAR and decisions made.
