Saw the men's blind football final today between Brazil and Argentina. Tight game and it took a quality finish from a Brazilian player to win it. The finishes have to very good seen as the keepers have full sight. Brazil were the favourites bt Argentina certainly made it difficult for them
I saw some of the game , I like the coaches who tap the goalpost with a spoon when their team has a free kick so as to aid the taker with where to aim the shot . It was a quality goal with some rough & ready tactics going on . Team GB are currently 1 min 30 seconds away from a Bronze in the wheelchair basketball featuring P'boro's Lee Manning though only 5 points in it atm .
The final medal team for Team GB who finished 2nd overall reads 41 Golds 38 Silvers 45 Bronzes TOTAL : 124 Loads of new PB's & some World Records to boot , very well done to all , I'll miss not watching 30 mins before work tomorrow & then no Vuelta when I get home from work which also ends today .
2nd in the table and got medals in 18 out of 19 events. 41 golds 38 slivers 45 bronzes Outstanding achievement again.
If only we could have the Chinese banned for the next Paralympics then the table would look more superb
a fantastic Olympics and an even better para Olympics. It says a lot about the opportunities for disabled people in this country who want to get in to sports. Something for Britain to be proud of
