Who have you had with him in defence? I think when he has a better player than him alongside his deficiencies are masked and he seems to be more concentrated. When he has to play with players of his standard or less then you see the mistake riddled Lennon, when you can actually get him on the field.
He was playing on the left of a three with Ben Tozer (who marshals the whole defence) and Aaron Hayden (who is an absolute beast).
