    No one should ever use text speak even when sending texts. This practice has, more than most, contributed to the erosion and bastardization of the spoken and written language and, as such, should not be tolerated. This is a lazy tool of a lazy mind and just because every numpty with a mobile phone uses it does not make it acceptable.

    There are a few on these forums who are vociferous in our condemnation of the same: myself, Shamen, Quiet Robert & Stret to name a few.

    However, this is another topic for another day...
