you were motm. I thought you picked up activity yesterday which kind of triggered a bit but jason looked well dodgy after defending reddevil and trying that on. I wrote on masons chat after seeing the other team blue "kill me now" LOL
I was watching the game from afar and this was what I was thinking. As soon as RD came under suspicion Jason was doing everything he could to sway votes away. It was so obvious and I'd have been on it like a rash
I never thought there would be two third party members in an 11 player game. I only became slightly suspicious of it in the end, but even in the end I was thinking, surely not another scum 'team'. It was a nice twist, & Jason was very assertive for the rest of the game. I suspected Jason as the third party at the very beginning, because he didn't seem happy with him being town cleared by me. But when he said he was town bomb, I thought he wasn't happy because he was confused with that role, & how I survived. So I cleared him then.
It wasn't solely about RD tbh. You (Lugna) said it in one of the chats but town aren't always privy to the same information that mafia and 3rd party scum have. My concern was that there was a good chance that both SME and Zydus were scum partners. We roleblocked Sme on N2, knew that Mafia's kill had failed on N2 and then SME kicked off D3 rambling about a roleblocker being in the game which was before Josh had even claimed his jailkeeper role so logically it came across as "my mafia kill failed, let me hint at there being a roleblocker in the game.." Additionally the only thing clearing SME as town was Zydus. I knew that there was scum within SME and Zydus. I wasn't sure if it was both but it had to be one or the other. Couldn't see any way I was winning that without RD and needed Zydus' flip to stand any chance of winning really. Had the lynch gone in Scunny's direction it might have played out differently but realistically I had little chance of winning once RD's lynch was over the line. In all fairness, I also couldn't see any way that town were winning that without Zydus' lynch because I knew one of them were scum and town needed to see it. I got lucky in the end but played on the offensive because every other outcome probably resulted in losing. I was pretty resigned to having lost once RD's lynch was through and I'd gone nuclear with my failed lynch on Zydus.
Can you imagine if i shot Jason and then Scunny was scum lol. Should have gone with my gut! Every game i say i am going to be more confident with my reads but never do!
yeah I was sure it was mislynch and lose there so was never changing and causing confusion. I had stopped myself during last night trying to work out all combinations and resolved to working still with zydus as town if it went another day but the flip had me thinking you had to be dodgy.
Yeah, I think in most cases, your gut isn't generally wrong, and we always say it at the end of the game Your gut isn't always right, but it's sometimes worth going with your gut feeling because if something doesn't feel right, it generally isn't.
