I read on the internet somewhere that it was rumored that, in a newspaper, that Liverpool only have a £5m budget to spend this summer. Do you think this is true? To be honest, I think £5m would be alright, as long as any money gained by selling some players could be spend on some new players, so if we do sell Torres, Gerrard, etc, we could buy some replacements.
Depends what and who he signs. If his signings are bad again then he will have thrown more money away.
I don’t believe it for a second. The American gobshite’s aren’t stupid, they know if they don’t invest in the team and the current slide continues the value of the club will decrease dramatically. Quite simply they have to improve the team or the club loses value…

And that was the season United won the league, after £30m+ Berbatov flopped. At least we cut our losses and got most our money back - money that hasn't been invested back in the team funnily enough. Unfortunately, when you have to sell to buy, there's no margin for error. You're living in a dream world.

Surely you wouldn't trust rafa with money generated by selling Torres or Gerrard? Liverpool may as well sell their soul if they let them two go. Liverpool will be fighting for a top half spot at this rate!
