Bellamy plays off Ashton in a hard working partnership full of quality who will defend from the front. Ashton the target man, Bellamy utilising his pace. Assist machines Reid and Cahill will supply the bullets, Kinkladze will terrorize defences with his dribbling and get goals. Having Schneiderlin holding gives me a nice balance, allowing box to box Cahill to get forward and plunder goals. Two big strong CBs, Davies will bring the ball out of defence. My England full backs finish off a rock solid back four. A defensively solid team, full of goals and creativity. Thanks for reading. x

A dream midfield pairing of Matt Holland and Neil Redfearn gives my team the defensive industry, goals and invention to dominate any game. Gary McSheffrey and Jimmy Kébé are on the wings, both dynamic game-changers able to win games with their dribbling, crosses and goals. A solid back four of Trippier-Breen-Gorkšs-Clement should shut out the best of attacks - a great mixture of experience, strength and natural ability - Trippier and Clement are very effective in the attacking third too, with their crossing ability and set-piece excellence. Hoult is a consistent keeper who will dominate his penalty area. Up front is the exciting strike-partnership of John Aldridge and Craig Hignett. Aldridge is arguably the finest poacher the second tier has ever seen, a prolific goalscorer. Hignett will play off him, able to create magic out of nothing and shoot accurately with either foot.

I'm playing the traditional 4-4-2 as it is a typical Championship/First Division formation. I felt it would almost be a crime not to use it. Anyway my strikers are both proven goal scorers with Goater scoring 54 goals in 89 appearances for Manchester City in the First Division as well as having a decent season with Reading, scoring 12 goals in 34, and Rhodes has scored 44 goals in 76 appearances for Blackburn so far and will most likely transfer to a Premier League club at some point.

My midfield is also filled with talent. A young Jason McAteer who was in the PFA team of the Year twice in a row and was a big player for Bolton's promotion who then transferred for Liverpool for £4.5 million (A lot of money back in 1995). My central-midfield also includes a Colchester and Charlton legend in Mark Kinsella. Kinsella was the captain for our dramatic play-off win in 1998 against Sunderland and his performances for us was literally phenomenal. He sometimes literally carried the team. Out-wide I have two work-horses in Mark Kennedy and John Robinson, who is also another legend at Charlton. Mark Kennedy however is probably the more attack-minded than John Robinson.

My defence is rock solid. At right-back I have Gary Rowett who was simply too good for the First Division. At left-back I have Paul Robinson who played the bulk of his career in the First Division and was a key player in the defence for pretty much every team he has played for. At centre-back I have 3 time PFA team of the Year player Darren Moore, who was promoted to the Premier League on 4 occasions and proved to be a key player at the heart of the defence for pretty much every team he played for. He was also nick-named things such as "Mr. T" and the "One man mountain" due to his height and strength. Next to him I have another Charlton legend in Richard Rufus. He was in the PFA Team of the Year 2 times, Charlton player of the year 3 times and was voted as Charlton's greatest ever defender. What more can I say? He also scored the equaliser in the 1998 play-off final which is one of our most crucial goals in recent history. In goal I have Alan Kelly who was in the PFA Team of the Year 2 times and is one of the best goalkeepers to play in the First Division/Championship.

My team in total has 18 PFA team of the Year awards.

Category 1 - Has made 100 or more Championship appearances for the same club - Alan Kelly
Category 2 - Has played in the Championship for 4 or more clubs - John Robinson
Category 3 - Has captained a Championship club - Paul Robinson
Category 4 - Has played in a Domestic Cup Semi-final or Final with his Championship club - Jason McAteer
Category 5 - Has never played in the Top Tier English Division - Jordan Rhodes
Category 6 - Made his league debut in the Championship - Richard Rufus
    Category 7 - Played for a promotion-winning Championship team - Mark Kinsella
Category 8 - Played for a team that was relegated from the Championship - Gary Rowett
Category 9 - Has scored 18 or more goals in a Championship season - Shaun Goater
Category 10 - Has scored in the play-offs - Mark Kennedy
Category 11 - Has never played for a London club - Darren Moore

A traditional Championship 4-4-2. A solid Championship keeper, who didn’t look out of place in the Prem, with two solid centrebacks who have a bit of everything, both born leaders and captained their teams. Fullbacks have the license to get forward, but both very defensively able, and have great set piece abilities. Leigertwood is the holding midfielder who will stop teams getting straight at the defence, allowing King to get forward and score goals from midfield as he has proven in the past. Chosen wingers who work best on the sides of the pitches, offering width, who can run at the defence or whip in a ball. Then up front two strikers who are probably played best at poachers, but both can pick up the ball slightly further out and do something with it.

Soild team really, apart from the defense which I seem to have mucked up abit. Well the centre backs are okay, just the full backs are out of position. Going forward I think we are decent, proven Championship strikers upfront who know where the goal is. Charlie Adam might not be a winger, but his crossing and free kick ability is a good option to have in the team.

Solid defence, with Karl Henry sitting deep to allow Koumas and Huckerby to get in to attacking positions and create chances for what I think would be an excellent strike partnership of Iwan Roberts and Lee Hughes.
