    THE ALL-TIME CRICKET DRAFT

    WARNING, PLEASE READ:

If you name an undrafted player (when it is not your turn), you will miss a round.

No second warnings, just a straight one round ban.

This is how the ALL-TIME CRICKET DRAFT will work:

    In a snake draft format...

    Round One
    Manager 1 - Chooses a player
    Manager 2 - Chooses a player
    Manager 3 - Chooses a player
    Manager 4 - Chooses a player
    Manager 5 - Chooses a player

    Round Two
    Manager 5 - Chooses a player
    Manager 4 - Chooses a player
    Manager 3 - Chooses a player
    Manager 2 - Chooses a player
    Manager 1 - Chooses a player

    ...and so on.

    1. Once the first pick has been made, the next manager has a maximum of 18 HOURS to make his pick. If the 18 hour deadline expires, the next manager in the draft order can make his pick.

    2. If you think you will be away for over 18 hours remember to leave someone your shortlist to post for you.

    3. Once you have made your pick, please Private Message the manager who follows you in the Draft Order.

    4. You must draft a WICKET-KEEPER and atleast ONE SPINNER. Try to build a balanced team as this will also be judged

    5. We'll be evaluating the players on their performances/records/match changing/ability

    6. The Draft is based on performances in TEST match Cricket Only.

    7. NEW RULE - MAX 2 players from each country to be picked

We will start once we have 8-10 players signed up, that should be enough for this spin off version ;)

Once the teams are complete we will vote on:

    BEST TEAM
    1.
    2.
    3.
    4.
    5.
    6.
    7.
    8.
    BEST BATTING (Including 2 openers)
    1.
    2.
    3.

    BEST BOWLING
    1.
    2.
    3.

    BEST FIELDING (Including WK)
    1.
    2.
    3.

    BEST BALANCE
    1.
    2.
    3.

We basing it on a pretty average pitch with a bit for batters and bowlers with a bit for spinners later sort of style?

    Right here we go.

Gonna go for the obvious choice and he'll probably be the only player I pick who played before my time.

    Sir Donald Bradman.
