    1. Gianluigi BUFFON - 2006 WC winner. WC record conceding 2 goals in 7 games.     3. Jurgen KOHLER - 1990 WC winner with Germany. FIFA didn't have an official team of the tournament at that year, but he was chosen as part of the ToT by various sources - Guerin Sportivo, Sportivo Sur, La Gazzetta dello Sport

    4. Antonio CABRINI - 1978 4th place. Best young player of the tournament. Managed team of the tournament according to most sources.

    5. Gaetano SCIREA - 1978 4th place. Managed team of the tournament according to Crónica.

    7. P.R. FALCAO - 1982 - Silver Ball - second best player of the tournament.

    8. Jean TIGANA - 1986 - Team of the tournament according to France Football and Sporting99.com selection.

    9. EUSEBIO - 1996 Golden Shoe with 9 goals. Bronze ball - 3rd best player of the tournament.

    10. Zinedine ZIDANE - WC winner, 2 goals in the final, Clarin’s retroactive World Cup player of the tournament.
