I wouldn’t go to Spurs if I was him. Daniel Levy is not a great bloke to work for. If I was him I would stay put for now - at least Celtic have Champions League footy next season - Spurs don’t.
Has nothing to prove in Scotland , he's won & done it all , stepping stone League , time to move on & test himself , you don't know until you try & there's a few good open jobs in England , Spurs maybe too big for him , Leeds & or Leicester would be ideal .
And he will have to start well otherwise the media and fans will turn on him saying well it was only Scotland and Celtic had no real competition etc .
Would Ange go with the support of the Celtic fans as he might go to a big club at the end of the season whereas Rodgers left mid season to join what was seen as a lesser club hence him being very unpopular?
You'd imagine they won't hold any grudges, I am sure they wouldn't have with Rodgers had he seen the season out then moved. Moving during a season (a successful one) marks you as a bit of a mercenary and drives home the idea you viewed the club as a stepping stone.
All the best to him. Brought us back to normality after our club got torn apart in the Covid season. I expected him to stay one more year to improve on last season CL attempt. But we move on, the Celtic job is possibly the most attractive it has been in years due to the money available and automatic Champions League football. I would like us to go for someone like Knutsen but I have a funny feeling we may be seeing the Rat back at CP sooner than we thought.
Rodgers in the frame for the Celtic job has got to be one of the silliest reports I’ve seen in awhile.
