I think we're going to get ****ing spannered all over the place to be honest. And that's from someone who is usually an optimist.

And in a sure to be hotly contested event, let's see which Blades fan can come up with the most nausea-inducing spin on today's match, to somehow convince his fellow fans, nay, himself, that United were robbed of this, that or t'other.

Jagielka should take it by a nose, though warnocksminder has the quality to run the chief opposition close, rather unlike today. Look out for Martinho and DazAwayBlade on the rails.

Can anyone who was there explain why we suddenly collapsed after 65 minutes? To be honest I'm not all that upset about the result, and holding out for 65 minutes isn't too bad, but conceding 3 against anyone in 25 minutes concerns me a bit.

Sounds like the first goal was coming, the second straight after it was unfortunate on your part, perhaps only the third was a real lapse in concentration. A MASSIVE lapse, of course.

No complaints from me, we were just outclassed. :(

We put on a decent show in the first half, but as soon as the second half started we just sat back for some reason and never really got forward again.

Wasn't expecting anything to be honest, but we put up a good fight, and I think fatigue kicked in in the last 25 minutes, 2 quickfire goals put us out of the game.

Never mind, we just have to concentrate on beating Middlesborough next Saturday, must win game for us at home.

Yeah I think it was obvious you guys were growing in confidence and when that Gallas goal went in it kicked the stuffing out of all your players and then they just couldn't play

The team that was put out would have been a poor line up last season. Add to it some horrifically dire negative "tactics" and any decent side should have had the score in double figures.

When I head Alan Wright was playing I considered going home, he is simply totally shit as a footballer, embarassing. Derek Geary can do a job, but how the hell can we expect someone we signed from the Stockport County substitutes bench to contend with last seasons Champions League finalists all afternoon?

What a total waste of time, an insult. I feel sorry for Rob Hulse, he must be thinking why the **** he came here when the manager goes out of his way to make sure he is not going to have a chance of scoring all afternoon.

Warnock is totally out of his depth. We are down already.

Anyone else hear the moan from the crowd when Alan Wright's name was read out?

I'm sure the people in the opposite QUADRANT could have heard that groan, in amongst the sounds of pins dropping and the rustling of empty crisp packets.

As expected , arsenal got the points , for 60 minutes though battled well goal rubbed out for an arsenal defender heading hulses foot, but cant complain , if any team leaves ashburton grove with anything now arsenal are getting into some sort of rythym Ill be surprised. It wasnt a game wed have seriously earmarked as a possible points earner , but next week at home v boro is one game where we must make in roads

When I saw Alan Wright in the team, I thought we were going for double figures tbh.

I thought it was a laughable team selection, the bench was stronger than the 11 in some ways. Akinbiyi was on the bench instead of Nade for some reason, which pissed me off.

Despite how good the performance was, it worries me that we are not sticking to the same team or tactics in any game. **** knows what we're going to do against Boro, I don't know how Warnock's mind works, saying that, I don't think I want to even try and figure it out.

It works in a way that he is right, you and all others are wrong. If he loses or ****s up it's not his fault. In other words, he is a delusional psychotic idiot.

    Random stat ..

Just been checking the bible & Saturday's attendance of 59912 is the second highest crowd to have watched Utd in a league match. Current highest is 65385 at Hillsboro' in the 1951/52 derby match. This of course will be beaten when we travel to Old Trafford later in the season.

Just wondering why wasn't Quinn in the starting team. And before the own goal I though Jagielka played very well.

Arsenal went easy. They could have scored 14 more before half time but they didn't wanna embarrass Sheffield. :O
