I want them both to lose, but I think that's unlikely . . . :hmmm

A final where all the talk is going to be dominated by two players.

I'm a fan of both but hopefully the Romero v Lloris hype isn't too nauseating. Not fussed which wins it but hopefully they'll find time to talk about the other players involved.

    So it’s France v Argentina .

Or rather Messi v Mbappe and 20 other talented players.

Will we see a repeat of their 2018 classic or a cagey affair given what is at stake?

Be a few egg on faces if Argentina win after the mocking they got after losing to Saudi Arabia!

All set up. They beat the runner-up, now battling the holders.

Let's see what you got, Lio!

Would like Argentina to win. 1986 since their last triumph is a very long time ago.

They're blaming english players (who didn't show symptoms of a flu afaik) that Rabiot and Upamecano got it from them? Ridiculous.

    Anyway, France vs Argentina

Don't know what I want here. Argentina losing its 3rd WC final in a row after winning the first 2 and France being the first country for 60 years to defend the WC title? Messi leaving without winning the ultimate trophy?

Idk, but what I do know is:
One of the two will get the 3rd star on the shirt after it. They're coming too near.....:whistle

Come on Argentina (even though I had France at 7/1 pre-tournament).

Come on Argies ,I predicted them from start , looked so dodgy after 1 game , plus a great player ready to complete his legacy

Interesting match up this - Not sure it will be exciting however.

Argentina will do whatever it takes, they don't even care if they look good in doing it, winning is all that matters. Apart from a moments in games they have since game 1 been a well drilled machine. Taking little risk and being very patient and looking for the most part fairly comfortable (Holland last 10 minutes aside).

France remind me a little of the critique Southgate and England get. Get a goal and are happy to sit back and invite pressure - Could Morocco finish they would have probably gone on to beat France. They really don't let themselves loose.

Tough one to call, i think it will be very tense and a lot of cancelling each other out and if we do get a winner in normal time it will likely again be a special moment involving Mbappe or Messi.

My prediction is a penalty shoot out and France to cave seeing Argentina win it

When they met in the 2018 World Cup it finished 4-3 to France. Wouldn't mind a bit more of that.

What a brilliant game that was, Mbappe absolutely roasted Otamendi and Rojo, Di Maria scored a screamer

    Nope.

Only Messi will be jerked over. Commentators and pundits want him to win the World Cup so badly. Semi Final when Alvarez scored the second goal (was it the second?). He started and finished it yet the Commentators 1st mentioned Messi.

Hopefully France win because we won't hear the last of it.

I know you’re used to having Ronaldo’s foreskin in your mouth but grow up.
