151 Accy Stanley at Wycombe 1,102 Plymouth at Rotherham 599 Imps at Gillingham 360 Cheltenham at Crewe 1,450 Oxford at Cambridge Courtesy of away days .
Bet your gutted that Barrow played down the road at Stevenage yesterday resulting in a clash . If Cambridge were away at say Accy Stanley yesterday would you have gone to Lamex instead ?
I doubt it. Who would give up steak & kidney pudding or meat'n'tatey pies and some of the best pubs in the country for a visit to the hell hole that is Satanage, even in the company of some of the best away supporters in L2? My fellow Barrovian in the Fens did yesterdays game on his bike - idiot!! I'd have loved to be at a full Holker Street next saturday for the first home game in the League with a proper crowd - but I'll be at Accrington!! Barrow have moved a couple of home games to Friday night in September and I've checked for some possible double headers but we're at the Abbey the following saturday in both cases. So it's going to take some re-arranged mid week fixtures or later round cup games/replays for me to see them. Colchester, Northampton and even Sutton or Vale clash with the likes of Ipswich, Sunderland & Rotherham at the Abbey and Lincoln away - not to be missed. And yes, I'd already checked all the possibilities. I'm resigned to sharing my favours with City down the road at Histon on a Wednesday night before they move into their new ground.
2712 Wednesday knobs at us yesterday. Can't even sell out away games now, so much for being massive eh? Sent from my SM-G991B using Tapatalk
Fleetwood never announce their attendances at all but there was about 1,100 Portsmouth fans there. Wimbledon fans at Doncaster is also a missing away following.
Got to be honest, I know we're not a well supported team, but I was very disappointed with only 360 on Saturday. Our first away game with fans in 18 months, our first game in the 3rd tier for 12 years. We're not overly well supported, but we do have form for turning out for big games.
