With the new away ticket system, apparently for the Liverpool game the opening criteria will be 7 league aways from last season , who on here will have the 7 points needed and what is everyone's thoughts on the new system?
Don't panic, that was just a twitter rumour I made up. The club have released no news yet in relation to how many points for what games. We have 2,400 people with 3 points or more. I have 6-7. I reckon I'm probably in the top 800-1,000.
Scott that is the information the club shop gave my brother yesterday, i hope you are right though, although i should be fine just a case of finding out what i paid for up front and what was brought on the gate of matches, i think we have a reduced allocation for Liverpool due to construction which is the reason it is as high as 7.
We do have a restricted allocation, of about 1,900, but it'd be a great guess from me if it's 7+. I have no idea how they'll be releasing tickets for sale.
And the Champiionship moaned about our away capacity of 1400 being too small and tinpot. Liverpool's is 1900?!
Looking at the fixtures that weekend, its almost certain to be one of the 4/5 games chosen for TV coverage meaning if anything other than a Saturday teatime kick off, the tickets will probably go on sale to those with minimal away points. Especially with the £43 price tag per adult.
