God I can't wait for more of this influx of lower league mentality this season  God forbid you get hard done by with a decision at Stamford Bridge or Ashburton, will you cope? :eek

Am going for the same scoreline as the one when we played you the 1st game of the season at your gaff in 1990 I think (first & only time i've been to your place.) 3 - 0.

Before my time that one. I'm gonna say 2-1 United. Gotta love pre-season optimism, but if there's one game that we can treat like a cup tie and really have a go, it'll be the first one.

Kopite has told me the news of being blessed with a visit to Bramall Lane at the start of the season was better than winning the Champions League.

I told him not to be silly, stating the obvious all the time.

To be honest, it eclipses everything. It's a dream come true.

I'm planning on sending everyone I know to that gay bar you 'recommend' and then drinking somewhere else.

The Cossack is quality, but it's not the most rampantly homosexual, the better and more gay one you should get them into is Dempsey's, which is literally a stones throw from the Lane. Suprisingly it's the only pub within a mile radius of the ground that isn't totally packed on a match day.

The inside of it is literally too good to describe, camp would be an understatement, its just so absurdly stereotypical it defies belief. Right down too the chocolate body paint machine in the toilets. Amazing.

If you are reading this and wondering how I know all this, then you probably aren't in the minority.

Two plans for the season. Send the boys to Dempsey's, and get a crew of about 300 together and go to a Scottish 3rd division game and treble the crowd, the first weekend in September. :cool2:

whatever you lot do shut gerrard down wheneva he gets the ball. He destroyed us and we played the best game we've played in years. Have a good season lads.

yes , proud boast , never beaten on first day in premiership , even beat man utd on first day and scored first ever prem goal , brian deane 2 minutes , and just for chopper , beat chelsea 4-2 last time we played them and are on a roll as we havent lost in our last 3 prem home games , our last prem home game we beat newcastle 2-0, 2 goals from marcus bent. We went down with 42 points , normally more than enough to stay up , but went down due to wimbledons hans segers doing 2 weetabixs against everton , for which he was handsomely rewarded , allegedely

2 lucky shots that went in (tee hee), I thought that liverpools defending in the cup final shows they are beatable . They were all at sea , and were more than generous in aiding west hams cause

If you think our defence is poor then I suggest you watch any of our other sixty something games last season.

Have you been drinking perchance? Last time we played chelsea (technically) was in a pre-season friendly a few years back, and we lost 2-0. And marcus bent never played for us in the prem, because he would have been about12 when we were in the premier league (if that).

I fancy our chances to beat them because it's early in the season, nick it by the odd goal maybe, but a nice welcome back to the big time against one of the bigger clubs
