Big game for both sides, if they win they are more or less safe, if we win it'sa step closer to safety and keeps us on track.

We are at home against a side with an awful defence, if we get at them then I think we will win. With our top scorer out we are not going to score many goals, even if it is Newcastle's defence we're playing against. The question for me is whether Mr. Warnock will look at how to use our strengths and exploit the Geordie's weaknesses at the back, or how to try and stop them. My fear is the latter, because that's what he likes to do.

My team would be - Kenny, Geary, Jagielka, Lucketti, Kilgallon, Gillespie, Leigertwood or Montgomery, Tonge, S. Quinn, Stead, Kazim-Richards or Nade.

Expected sell out too, so Bramall Lane will be loud as always, let's hope the team give us a win to shout about too.

This game is there for the taking, and I think we need 3 points, let's hope we can do it.

I think we'll lick them 1-0 with a scrappy goal from Stead.

CHARLTON have caught us up by winning consequetive home games v Newcastle West Ham and Wigan , coincidentally our next 3 home games
whilst weve had to play 3 of the top 5 away

theres 7 to go , if you say that well get nothing at man utd and charlton will get nothing at liverpool, it leaves us with 4 home games and 2 away , all at clubs from 14th down
charlton have 3 home and 3 away

last season in march wed just lost 2 away at coventry and norwich and watford had moved to within a point of us in the league , the doom and gloom merchants wanted warnock sacking (theres a novelty) and had written off even our hopes in the play offs

    SOME THINGS NEVER CHANGE

I forgot about the Stead-Sunderland relation. He'll be working his bollocks off if he plays

Not bad, he works hard and was building a good partnership with Hulse until he broke his leg. He's been on the bench lately for some reason though. He makes good runs and is an intelligent player, he's been a good buy, especially for the money we paid.

It wasn't his fault, it was those around him ;)

I don't think he's a goalscorer, if you get what I mean. He's more a link up player, who brings others into the game and creates chances for other people.

I think you will win 2-1 lads.

Newcastle seem like a team with nothing to fight for (although they are not actually totally safe).

I don't think Newcastle will go down to be honest. I just can't see it.

Just switched over after the Bayern game to watch the last half hour of arsenal-west ham and got a nasty shock, put the computer on saw our latest score and got a nastier shock.
Enough games yet but somehow relegation is coming ever, ever, inevitably closer.

What an embarrassment of a team selection, followed by an even more embarrassing performance. We're back to the negative shit we endured at the start of the season. 2 defensive midfielders against one of the worst defences in the league? Give me a f***ing break.

We're going down, and we're going to finish 19th

warnock has 2 games to save him from the sack for me west ham at home and charlton away if we don't win them and we go down warnock can take his p45 and stick it where the sun don't shine ive had enough of his negative sh*t:angryfire

Warnock has shot himself in the foot big time he spent all our budget on quantity instead of quality and where WAS the ATTACKING MIDFIELDER WE NEED the answer is NOWHERE!!! He hasn't got a clue that bloke when it comes to tactics at the moment.

I won't be sad to see warnock go in the summer after the sh*t he has put us through this season i have never been one to call for warnocks head before but i have had enough.

And that adds insult to injury when the clueless tw@t comes out on national tv and Embarrases the club even further by saying we gave it our all and played quite well he is living in cloud cukoo land that bloke.

Bromby and leighterwood should have there contracts torn up now they are pure sh*te I mean anyone who went to leicester away last season would no why Bromby looks out of his depth in the championship let alone the premiership.

So much for all this bollocks about Europe in 3 years all that hard work of getting back into the premiership and looks like we have f*cked it up bigtime.

Kevin mcabe must be living in cloud cukoo land if he thinks warnock would take us into Europe even if he was given a warchest of 100m he would probably struggle to get us into Europe.

His buys this season bar Nade ckr and hulse have been pure sh*te and the other half have been injured most of the season typical warnock buy quantity instead of quality that motto has coem back to bite him in th arse.:slap:
