    next home game
    chance to add some points
thank goodness we are playing a team that doesnt try and win penalties

historically very good at home v everton
just need to accumulate a few more points , so 120% effort should do

A team that doesn't try and get penalties? Have you heard of Andy Johnson?

We need to win this game in my opinion, Charlton have a very good chance of beating Watford, so I think we need this to keep the 7 point away from the relegation zone.

I think we can, and I'm going for 2-1.

I can't read what warnocksminder is on about, because his grammar is quite frankly horrific, but I'm also going for a 2-1 win.

A game we definitely need to win to keep clear of the bottom three, especially as Charlton play Watford.

Mike Riley is a cheating bastard! He gave them everything. :angryfire

Dunno what Kenny was doing, he must have had grease on his gloves today. :(.

Thought we were rather sloppy at times, as were they, but I reckon I'd have taken a point before the game. Before today I'd have said this was our hardest remaining home fixture, so at least it's out of the way.

My first taste of a live Premiership game today.

Enjoyed it. A very hard fought and bruising game I thought, reminded me a lot of how we used to play when we were good. I was really impressed by your number 4 (Davis I think).

Bramall Lane is a great place to watch football and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Good luck for the rest of the season, I'd definitely consider coming and watching you again.

Glad you enjoyed your visit Kim. :)

Yeah I like Davis too, put in a few decent tackles today, and cleared one off the line.

what does mike riley do to warrant being a prem ref

I thought he was clueless, for both teams

thought nade had a penalty at the last knockings , but it wasnt gerrard and it wasnt bennet

I also think we should have had a penalty, when Hulse was pushed to the floor in the second half. Think Lescott was the culprit.

    Bugger all is the answer.

It was also him who cost us a draw at West Ham, when we had that perfectly good goal disallowed in the last minute.

Defensively yeterday I thought we were brilliant. Especially Davis, he was fantastic, the only thing I thought he did wrong was the needless booking, but aside from that he was solid.

We didn't really get going I didn't think, but tbh Riley was that whistle happy it ruined the game.

I'd have taken a point before the game, but the goal really pissed me off. Kenny was too busy trying to take Johnson out than just catch the bloody ball. If he'd have just tried to catch the ball and just forget about Johnson we might just have won.

But it's another point on the board and another point towards safety. I think another 2 wins now and we'll be safe.

Next two games are going to be very very difficult, and I hope we don't come out of them too badly.

Thought the game was rather poor up until we scored, neither us or everton really got the ball down to play football and Mr Riley didnt help by not allowing the game flow either.

Must say we did have one decent penalty shout (Nade) but all the other half hearted ones contributed to us not getting one when it was warranted. Having said that I thought before Nade went down if he'd have been a bit more positive and ruthless he would have got to the ball and got a shot in on goal.

All in all as said before will take a point and our destiny is still in our own hands!

I was waiting for the bitchfest to start, just be fooking honest neither side did themselves proud in a very physical and bruising game, to me both sides wanted the draw and that is sad.Personally i hope you do stay up Warnock is one of the characters this game is missing [ apart from the hard done to whine ].At least this time there is no talk of AJ diving, that makes a change.

Just to mention that I thought Phil Jagielka showed good sportsmanship to help Tim Cahill off of the field when he was injured, you don't see too much of that these days!

Especially considering Cahill had earlier decked stephen quinn by the touchline. Since when does a forearm smash not warrant a card of any colour Mr. Riley?

Just remembered another thing that pissed me off. Fathi manages to knock the ball over one of their players' head with his foot, which is deemed a foul as his foot was too high. Then a matter of minutes later, one of their players smacks Geary in the head with his foot, and nothing is given! :angryfire

One rule for one, one for another.
