Signing number 4. Undisclosed fee (what a surprise.)

I'm quite optimistic. He's still only 23 and despite his spell at Bolton, he played well under Dyche at Watford. We are starting to get some numbers now, hopefully we can make some real quality signings soon.

First thing this lad needs is someone to give him a bit of a wake up call and try to make him realize that he needs to roll his sleeves up and be counted for if he actually wants to make an impression. I say this because both Bolton and Charlton fans say he was lazy/poor. Joining a Prem side at a young age has hampered his career some what, probably thought he had made it and no longer needed to prove anything. He's never been much of a team player so I am surprised Dyche has got him tbh, but he's quick/athletic and if Burnley attack this season like you did last season then there's no reason why he can't make some sort of positive impact. Could see him working well alongside Vokes but not Ings. End of the day 500k is pocket change these days so no harm done if it doesn't work out.

The question here is can you get his mind off Twitter and focused on the job in hand?

A twitter obsessive if there ever was one, his career's gonna pass him by unless he can kick that habit into touch.

If anyone can inspire Sordell to get back on track it's Dyche. This is going to be one of those signings that either ends terrible, or turns out to be a real bargain.

Absolutely no chance. Sordell very much a squad player, I'm sure we'll sign another striker and if Ings leaves then another 2.

I'd have a little charity bet with any of the Burnley lads that ings goes nowhere this season

Sordell might get a few goals and run fast but wouldn't expect too much in terms of work rate from him.

If he doesn't show a good work rate then Dyche won't play him. Could be interesting...

True - but he worked well for Dyche.

:thumb hopefully they'll come . id like to think they will. even some championship players are probably on better wages than we're prepared to pay.

I hoping we might try and get some young players from the established clubs on loan.
