You boys off to the game then?

Reckon Weaver will replace the Beast or not. Think he'll be on the bench myself as back up.

Cort will replace one of our centrebacks but which one. Get a feeling its going to be Duff myself and if it is he can count himself really unlucky. Who knows Laws might drop both CB from the other night and stick Bikey back there alongside Cort. Might even have Danny Fox later today aswell :)
McCann going to be fit to start or not, same with Alexander:no:

David Nugent gone back to Portsmouth or what. Sky sports are saying he's been spotted down their but hasnt trained with them:confused If he's gone back who would you be starting upfront with Steve Fletcher, think its going to be Martin Paterson and the French kid on the bench.

Then theres the nightmare of coming up with a game plan to stop Chelsea, good luck boys i think you'll need it.

Weaver will be on the bench no doubt, Cort in for Duff I think and hopefully Edgar in for Carlsile who had a shocker v Bolton. We have signed Danny Fox but I’m pretty sure he's injured at the moment so hopefully Jordan is back. Bikey will probably slot back into midfield to replace either McCann or Grezza.

Don’t think it matters who plays anyway can only see one outcome

Anything against Chelsea will be a bonus even if we limit them to a 2 goal victory! The big one is next week at home to Hammers. MUST MUST MUST win six pointer that!!

If we play as bad as we did at Bolton the other night you might not be far off with that prediction:laugh:

..and what if we play as well as we did against Manchester United and Arsenal at home and also take our chances this time whilst playing like we did at Old Trafford?

I think you already know the answer to that one pal. Seen all the games aswell, not just been our problem in them games though. Created and missed a lot of chances in plenty of our games this season. All about class of striker though and ours just dont have premiership class.

    Pay peanuts get monkeys.

It was a comeback to the blackburn fan.

I'll take a 1-0 win, your home form under Coyle was good, new manager might be (i'm hoping) the opposite.

Hope you give Terry (a real dick) as much abuse, if not more, than you gave Coyle.

Why single him out? plenty of people have done this sort of thing in the past and this the usual tabloid bollcks anyway.

Anyway, hi, i'm a new chelsea fan here and i think we will win but Burnley are a good young side that will only get younger.

Not right bothered what JT has been up to in his private life. Think Wayne Bridge might do somehow though:laugh:

Speaking of Terry, he should have been sent off, quite clearly the last man.

We played very well last night think we where good for a point but Chelsea are class and it only takes one chance. I haven’t managed to see Fletcher’s goal again yet, was it as good as I thought it was (I sit all the way back in the jimmy mac upper tier so I probably had the worst possible view for it!) Was happy with every player yesterday apart from Eagles, it’s so frustrating because he’s probably our most talented player but he loses the ball every single time, and his defensive side of the game is non existent.

Yes i agree with the point about Eagles, he got nothing out of the Chelsea fullback last night. I sit in the jimmy mc upper right at the back. Watched it on tv when i got home aswell Fletcher flicked it, then looked as though Alex had it and Fletcher nipped in. Either way round Fletcher still took it well stayed composed and slotted it past the keeper.

We need to play to them sort of standards every week from now till the end of the season but i said the same thing after the Utd game the other week and then watched us produce utter shite away to Bolton.

Far bigger game next week at home to Westham where 3 points is a must for me. I couldnt understand why we kept leaving John Terry free on evey freekick/corner and was bound to punish us at some point. Proud of the way all the players grafted though.

One last point Robbie Blake for me shouldnt be starting games for us, looked well off the pace last night and dont recall him doing much right . If he left for Preston or whoever wans him today i wouldnt be bothered at all.

For me Bikey had his best game in the midfield since he's played that role. Wont a lot of stuff and although most of his passes were simple ones never really give the ball away.
