Another massive game for the Clarets (aren't they all!)....coming off the back of the brilliant 1-0 victory over United. Confidence will be sky high amongst the boys and obviously us fans. But this is the Premiership and each game has to be taken completely seperate from the previous. The 3rd game of our Premier League campaign welcomes Everton. It will be our 105th meeting with the Toffees. The Clarets are unbeaten in our last 5 meetings with Everton with 2 wins and 3 draws. Everton have never lost the opening 2 games of a Premier League campaign, hopefully we can put an end to this statistic. Everton will still be hurt from their embarrasing opening day shocker at home to Arsenal, and we all know how dangerous a wounded animal can be. Plenty of dangerous individuals who have the ability to punish us at the slightest lack of concentration. Stevey Caldwell will miss out again for us and Duffo is also struggling to be fit in time. I can see the same starting 11 as the United game. Think OC will see how things progress. Anyone seeing any possible changes?
Anyway one thing is for sure, if the atmosphere and support is anything like it was on Wednesday night, we're in with a shout....UTC!!:angryfire

You kick off at 3, nothing early about that. Not on any TV.

Don't think you can really call that a shock. Fully deserved win that was.. (why am I saying this?). Just hope we don't get a penalty against you with the way those are going.

We really played some good stuff and think we deserved to win by more way than 1, I thought we were going to be in for a good game when Patto hit the crossbar in the first minute and I wasn’t disappointed.

People are saying how lucky we are about us not conceding from two penalties in two games but for anyone who has actually seen the incident they will know that it was never a penalty in the first place and that Hibbert dived, but it doesn’t mater as justice was served and Sahahahaha took a dreadful penny.

Thought Everton looked good when they had the ball and they could have a got a few goals themselves but it wasn’t there day, I was particularly impressed with Pienaar, he looked a genuine threat every time he had the ball. Fellaini on the other hand was a waste of space, and wtf is that thing on his head! :eeek However I’m pretty sure come Christmas they will be back up in the top 6 – 8.

Really glad we’ve got some points on the board now as we’ve got Chelsea then Liverpool away next and I can’t see us getting anything from them!

Brilliant match. Couldn't believe that penalty. Justice was done though.

Two penaltys on our own Turf, none converted. Good omen?

    Good atmosphere again yesterday.
