So our Reserves will face "Table Topping" L2 Swindon tomorrow night. Bonus - we're getting Trevor Kettle out of the way early, so hopefully we shouldn't see him again this year. A win would be helpful for momentum and add a little to the coffers - although less than progress in the Pizza Trophy generates. Defeat would be disappointing but there's still enough positivity around the club for it not to impact much on the League fixtures going forward. Just anticipating another enjoyable evening of football on the terraces, making plans for away days with some old friends.
Sheff Weds v Huddersfield Millwall v Pompey Stand outs . Harrogate v Rochdale 2nd game in 3 days , another 5 goal thriller ? If Plymouth knock us out I won't bat an eye lid .
Bolton away, could be a decent game, I won't be devastated if we go out though. We should use this to give the new strikers game time.
Have you any idea how many tickets you've sold. I have no doubt you'll be bringing more than mk dons did on Saturday a pathetic 399
I get that but for the 1st game in 18 months with no fans I expected a decent away following no matter who we played
I hate this competition and generally wish for us to play the youth team and get out of it. But having missed a couple of pre-season games and looking very leggy on Sunday, I'm wondering if we might be better playing the first team to get some game time in. Either way, we'll probably still lose
This! Progress up to the 3rd round and we only get smashed by Arsenal or Chelsea anyway Sent from my 6025H_EEA using Tapatalk
I hope we have not sent our kids into a hiding for nothing tonight. Team made up of mostly teenagers against a strong (but not quite full strength) Swansea team. 3 starters and 6 on the bench who have never played a single minute of professional football before! Could be a long night. Although have to be proud that 17 out of 18 of the players on the teamsheet have come through our academy. Only the League cup but cannot imagine that happens too often.
Pretty much full strength at Mansfield tonight, wouldn’t be surprised if we lost though. We’re shite.
After 8 minutes SITHOLE has scored for GILLINGHAM away at Crawley. Has someone missed an H out of his name
