Erm, Burnley, you're kinda shite. This is one of the worst performances of the season from us, and yet we lead by 4 goals...
if there is ever a tape made of how NOT to defend just show them our so called defending for the Villa goals second half. Pathetic we seem to think for some reason we can defend on the halfway line. Put very little or no pressure on the ball and give them yards of space to do what the hell they like. Only good thing to come out of that game for us was Jack Cork the kid looks a decent player and set both our goals up with good passes. We just give up once Downing scored his second and it looked as though Villa felt a little sorry for us Ive already accepted were going down a couple of games back tbh. My only wish now is Coyle takes Bolton down too.
Maybe this one gives a better idea about the ground improvements proposed The teams will come out between JH/JM stands I think they intend to have an hotel on corner of Bob Lord/new CF
Looks alright to me, although i can think of better places than Burnley to stop overnight no matter how good the hotel turns out to be
People going to the concerts and stuff during the week next door, the business folk doing deals with Burnley FC, flush away fans wanting to stay overnight having travelled some distance, flush home fans by the same token, lots of people in fact!
The Cricket Field itself will be moving to new premises allowing Burnley to take over that space behind the stand. There are plans to rejuvenate Burnley town centre which would centre around the Turf Moor football ground and include creating a football university. The university would be built on the town's cricket ground and an area known as the Weavers' Triangle would be used for bars and student housing. A new stand, which could hold rock concerts, would replace the David Fishwick Stand at the football ground Paul Fletcher, chief executive of Burnley Football Club, said: "If you dare to dream, dream big, and this is not just about Burnley Football club, it's about the whole town and potentially leaving a massive legacy brought on by promotion to the Premier League. "The name of Burnley is all around the world because of our standing in the biggest league in the world. They all know where we are, the trick is now getting people here. "The university would do that and allow students to learn about every facet of the business side of the biggest sports industry in the world", he added. Prince Charles, a Burnley fan by all accounts is lending his support to the inititiatives.
Anybody still believe we can stop up after seeing that pile of shite at the weekend. Note to Steve Fletcher , get some heading done in training all this week because you cant header the ball to save your life fella. That cross from Paterson was perfect and should have been in the back on the net and somehow managed to head over the top
I thought with the home games you lot had left you might just manage to stay up but after that result.......
I thought we had a sniff of stopping up too with the games we had left at home. Looking at how bottleless and clueless the side were though that hope went right out of the window.
