I'd be happy if we spent average £3m on a player. I'm not expecting us to go like for like on transfer fee's. We would get a few good players for £3m each imo.
It would be a big gamble. What happens if you lower it and we sell less tickets? I can remember your points on this at the start of the season regarding supporters not turning up, i never disagreed that would happen but said that any Celtic fan that didn't buy a season ticket because there was no competition shouldn't really class himself a Celtic supporter. . .i stand by that. I think we'll sell the same amount again because around 40k is the hardcore. . .i also think we'll have the same scenario with fans not turning up at some games but as long as they buy the season ticket, thats the most important thing.
Im the same i think if we got cica £16m for Wanyama and Hooper we'd be prepared to spend £6m on two replacements and that for me is the way to go. But i wouldn't be up in arms if we only spent £4m as that could be the players that have been identified.
Season Ticket prices should be lowered , the Top game is missing from the Product so for an inferior Product we're paying 580 quid on average per season ............ too expensive. They might include the 3 CL qualifiers in the package next season , but I don't expect a drop in price ............. which is seriously making me think about NOT renewing next season , I don't like to be taken for granted nor treated like a fool.
The three CL qualifiers being included would basically mean a drop in price. Renew your ticket and support your club.
I've had a season ticket ever since I was a Bhoy .......... £12 for the jungle , if my memory serves me well. I've lived in Germany for 15 years , Australia for 3 and Spain for 2 and I kept my season Book current , I've still got 1,000 shares in Celtic PLC , I've stood in open Terraces in Sleet , Torrential rain and even a little sunshine. Me and my Pals used to buy Main stand tickets for Hampden and Ibrox so we could start the singing .......... I've supported my Club since the day I was born , played for the Bhoys club so I think I've done more than enough to take a look and see if I'm getting value for my money.......... at the moment I'm not , the Club has to do more for season ticket holders.
For Gods sake listen to yourself, you either go and support your team or you dont, stop crying about the cost.
Easy to say when you don't have one , the point I'm making is that Celtic don't offer anything else to shareholders/seasonbook holders , I've forked out for years but still can't get a bier inside the stadium , unless I pay for Hospitality or buy a membership for the 67 Club. I get better value for my money at Kaiserslautern or Stuttgart. You only have to look at attendances this season , Celtic have 42,000 season ticket holders at the moment , we've space for 18,000 fans .......... where are they ? How many non-season book holders have actually turned up at CP to watch a match ? I'm not moaning I'm discussing Celtic's attitude towards the Fans ........ especially the Green Brigade who are being Targeted for no good reason........ and what are they going to do to make me an attractive package to keep renewing my season Book , at £580 a season , I think I should get more than get soaked in my seat ..............
They could if they set up a Private Supporters Bar and didn't charge me £150 quid membership (67 Club) , why not £10 for a season membership , I'll spend my Brass in there rather than one of those pokey wee pubs dotted around the streets. They don't want to do it because they push the Hospitality packages.
Thats rubbish m8. The Affiliation of CSC's has a lounge which is only £30 a season to join. You can drink in there until 2.30pm every game and then for an hour and a half after the game. Hospitality is down this year and there is space. In the concources it's illegal to sell alchohol.
Where ? I've never heard of it , I sit in the North Stand Lower 107 , I was quoted £150 quid for Club 67 for the season. I didn't say in/on the concourse ,there's a bookies , Celtic shop and refreshment stands so why not open a members bar ? .............. it's actually illegal not only to sell alcohol is the stadium/concourse but to be in possession of it also outside of Licensed areas.
I sit in 111 and the affiliation lounge is right behind the Green Brigade section, £30 a season. I didn't buy one but our bus has four for anyone that wants them on any day. I know your just back but i wouldn't bother answering Rich Le John, he has weird and serious issues.
