Liked this thread on the Premier League forum. I normally use it to try to make my team sound better than they actually are. EFL Championship 2019-20 GW2 Top Teams Total shots 1 Derby County 17 #DCFC = QPR 17 #QPR 3 Cardiff City 16 #CCFC = Preston North End 16 #PNEFC = Sheffield Wednesday 16 #SWFC 6 Leeds United 14 #LUFC = Middlesbrough 14 #Boro
The above is classic Warnock isn’t it? Actually you create quite a lot of chances despite having none of the ball. I reckon you will beat us quite comfortably as we mess about with possession on the half way line.
It doesn’t win him many fans amongst the neutrals, nor some of our own fans, but it can be effective at this level. Whether he can make it work again this season I’m not sure.
Don't really understand stats like that. Should I be pleased or disappointed that our centre halves aren't included?
Not sure, it was highlighted on our forum because dealing with high balls into the box was a problem for us last season. Our set up kind of invites crosses and high balls as we're quite narrow without the ball so we need defenders who command the box. It's probably a stat that's more interesting after 20 games rather than 2.
Preston have already faced the most direct side in the league which will be a contributing factor also.
Is there a stat about who have played the most long balls? probably right but maybe a lazy observation to instantly say Millwall.
The teams currently in 1st, 2nd, 4th & 8th all currently have players on loan from Brighton. Massive.
Love it, it was Potter who brought back the Swansea way but I’m glad that Cooper is continuing his work but with better match results
Steve Cooper has won more games in the Championship than Nathan Jones has managed at Stoke since joining them in January.
