Shelton needs a partner to supply him and help him out he is not a playe ri would use in the 4-5-1 system that warnock plays at times:angryfire

Please no Nade for next season!!

I have to conceed in recent weeks there has been improvement in the kids play and work, but if we are to push onto the next level as the heirarchy lead us to believe we need a top quality striker to complement Hulse, Stead and Shelton (I think he has better potential). Nade has served a purpose but I dont see him as a long term option if we are to stay in the premiership for a number of years.

I must say on the subject of this threads title I really did think we could have settled the survival issue on saturday, Charlton we there for the taking and we only decided to step on the gas an play some football once we went 1 down, from scoring the equaliser our tactics appeared to be back to ensuring we werent defeated, as the previous hour before their goal.

i felt that had Warnock put the message out to the players that charlton were their to be beaten,we would have collected all 3 points.

I must comment on the following on saturday which was exceptional and the celebration of the goal was something else, possibly the best this season.

I agree about the celebration, went absolutely crazy. My top was off swinging round my head after running to the front and jumping about like a lunatic. Love it :smokin:

You should have been sat next to him. :rolleyes

Charlton won a corner which Daz wasn't happy about, so he went marching down the steps to verbally abuse the linesman.
