Good on him, I didn't know he could play for them.

It shows how well he's been playing recently

It sounds like he did well for them anyway, a goal and an assist

one of my favourite Blades players, even when things dont work out he never lets his head drop and just keeps going and going, been turned into a right winger at moment but i would like to see him play upfront and we convert Jon Stead into a right winger.

Lets convert everyone! Lets convert Nick Montgomery into a competent footballer! Lets turn water into wine! Or why not play people in their prefered and best positions? Is logic expensive?

not really but Stead could turn out to be a great right winger, he drifts out enough so lets give him ago.

Wenger converted Henry from left wing to upfront.

Im not saying convert everyone but sometimes players would benefit elsewhere, Stead wont score 20 goals a season but he could set up 20 goals a season.

I would like to see Kazim-Richards play up front every week.

Not entirely true. He played up top a lot for Monaco, it was Juve who played him primarily on the left.

fair enough lets say Wenger made Henry a superb striker even though he played on left, although you can still see Henry drift out onto left wing quite a lot.

Just some players you can see that you can make them a better player elsewhere, Jon Stead is one of them he would be awesome on right and balls he can put into box Kazim-Richards and Hulse would love it.

I don't think I'll ever rate Stead. I thought he made a great impact when he first signed for Rovers, but then scored about 3 goals in his next 50-odd games or something? That's just shocking.

I don't think much to Kazim-Richards either, but obviously you'll see more of him than me to make a proper judgement.

Stead has been awesome for us so far just think he would be even better on right wing, his work rate is first class and now he is back in yorkshire and Warnock seems to be getting best out of him. I dont think he is much of a goal scorer but he has a great cross of ball in his locker so would stick him on right and give CKR a free role up front.

But im not in charge and no doubt other Blades fans and Warnock have other ideas lol

CKR's now wanted by the Turkish first team. They are trying to fast track his papers so he's eligible later this week. Excellent stuff.

I also heard he needs a Turkish Passport to be eligible to play. Apparently the Turkish FA are trying to rush one through before the game.

Well if you saw him week in week out it would change your opinion he is a class act he has been playing very well in the last few games and has just been called up to the turkish full side after Fatih terim was so impressed with his performance for the u-21 against switzerland he is trying ot rush the papers through so he can play tonight.

Also for skill and ball control and creativity i would say he is probably the best player we have he can turn games in an instant he is not afraid to take players on and have shots unlike the rest of our midfield all in all not bad for 150k from brighton reserves.:salute:
