Couldn't see a thread on this, I'm a newbie so apologies if I've missed it.

Just wondered what people's thoughts were on this?

Guy has got himself fit and put in a few good performances and then he's shipped out. Have we got another RB lined up this window or is JK putting faith in the likes of Hoever/Camacho to play back up to Trent. Gomez obviously an option too but I think the penny has finally dropped that he is an out and out, rather excellent center half.

After seeing Camacho against Wolves I'm worried as he displayed some of the worst positional sense I have ever see. Was nowhere near Hoever when he had the ball at CB and regularly left the poor lad without much on except for a square pass to Fab or to Milner when he dropped

Trent is still developing and worries me in some big games and seems to occasionally lack defensive nouse and physicality. Anybody else think this is a dodgy move from LFC in terms of that depth we have lost?

Yeah pretty annoying but he hasn’t featured in a while and as long as Trent doesn’t pick up a big injury we will be fine.

    First choice: Trent A.A

Second choice: Gomez (obviously the ideal centreback partner to VVD, but imagine if it's a Champions League knockout game: which defender would I want to lockdown the opponent's left wing forward?)

Other options: utility man Milner, Fabinho (played there for Brazil and earlier for Monaco ) and young Camacho...

Sadly Clyne found himself in that third tier. He's a solid but not spectacular fullback who deserves to play every week in the Prem, since recovering from injury, so I fully understood the move from his perspective.

Given the flexibility of players who can play multiple midfield positions, I'm happy with our options right now.

    As for left back...

Which only went and happened. Makes the decision more frustrating.

It’s alright saying that we have cover for RB even with Trent and Gomez out as we have Fabinho and Milner, well we’ve needed to use Fabinho at CB and as our best midfielder we need him there every game. Milner got suspended and like last night, we needed Milner in midfield not covering RB. The decision to loan out Clyne has backfired in the worst way it could have.

I guess Warnock wasn't moaning too much on Saturday about missing out on Clyne.

Too busy telling people to **** off instead

In all seriousness he’s no reason to moan, us on the other hand have. Poor decision that could cost us.
