i knew nothing of these lads until recent once it was decided these two would be the players we placed on hopes on for goals in 2021.

I have only seen YouTube videos of both, both appear to be penalty experts.

I suppose my question is which of the two is better suited to the rough and tumble of playing footy in the championship?

I haven't seen enough of Nisbet, but Cosgrove won't have any issue with the physical side of the game.

Yes I got that impression from what I saw of Cosgrove. The Nisbet deal seems to have stalled over the fee.

Hibs want £3m I believe and we have only offered £2.8m.

Most of the fan base want Nisbet over any of the other names mentioned.

Nisbet has a lot of potential and will do well if managed correctly.

Whilst the answer to your question in terms of physicality is that Cosgrove will have absolutely no issues with that... Nisbet is the better player.

My personal opinion is that the replacement Aberdeen seem set to bring in - Florian Kamberi - for Cosgrove, is a better player than him.

Undoubtedly Cosgrove had been the talisman for some good Aberdeen teams though in recent years, up until this season and it's one that could go either way down there really.

Thanks for that bit of info on the two I just hope now Nisbet isn't affected by it all. He apparently put in a transfer request having got his head turned.

It’s not every day someone offers to quadruple your money. Like I said in op I didn’t see anything that impressive on YouTube to convince me he is the better player but from what’s occurred and the opinions of yourself and others he is the better player.

Any other hidden diamonds lurking around

Nisbet has shown no loyalty whatsoever to any team he has ever played for, and would have had the same attitude at Birmingham if he had gone there.

I can't speak too much on the earlier moves in his career, perhaps you know more about those than I do.

But in fairness to the guy, in the case of his most recent move from Dunfermline to Hibs and also in the desired move from Hibs to Birmingham City, you're probably talking life changing money for him. He grew up in Glasgow, ( so likely as a Rangers or Celtic fan) with probably no allegiance to Hibs, so what sort of loyalty can you expect?

Never like to see transfer requests coming in regardless, but you have to see his point of view
